"Why do you want to ruin the marriage proposal, sir?"

Innocently her voice asked me when I placed the paper bag on the table, next to her. "Money without a reason will be doubled."

She was offended by it, as she looks away, "Deal."

Yet she chooses to agree. Before walking away, "Now go and get dressed up." Said I.

Her black dress was pretty but that's not enough to convince Mr. Farhan, the calculative. I ensured to buy the girl some jewels too, so that my mom won't freak out. Quickly I halt to turn around, "Hey,"

She glances at me before drawing the curtains of the fitting room. "What's your name again?"

Her eyes go wide, probably cuz of irritation, "Livia Marino, your fake girlfriend, Mr. Blaze."

"Who named you that? Your dad?" I didn't mean to ask that, but heck.

"How'd you know?"

"Bullshit" I whispered. "I got you a necklace, wear it after getting dressed, Blue."

[Author: Livia means Blue]

I didn't wait for her reply, I walked past Scarlett asking her to look after Blue. My secretory had already brought the car in front of Flawless Fashion, the boutique of Scarlett.

I checked my watch and pulled my coat together, "Isn't she ready yet?"

Preparing the blueprint for the plan which I'm going to execute soon, I was tapping my shoe impatiently.

"Cool your heels, Zay." Scarlett smiled at me from behind, "Your lady is on her way."

My lady?

"The dinner is at six, Scar! I don't have time to make it to the-" As I turned behind me, my words lost its way out of my mouth.

FFFFrick!

It was as if I was hit by a wave of enchantment, when I saw Blue in a bodycon dress descending from the stairs like a shy angel. Her eyes were mesmerising all of a sudden. She was no more the person she was before.

There isn't much glow up, yet, she was stunning in maroon colour dress.

I've cursed Scarlett for choosing maroon as I hate it (only because my father loves the colour). But she really did a good work on Blue to look Flawless like the name she had given to her boutique.

"Ahem!" Scarlett holds her laughter and narrows her eyes to me. I was caught and just closed my ajar mouth.

Why do I always make myself a fool only in front of my childhood best friend?!
