With the discovery of the ancient weapons and the crucial evidence gathered from Blackwell Library, Nathaniel and Rain felt a renewed sense of purpose. They had a clearer picture of the corruption surrounding Dr. Calloway and the extent to which his network reached. Yet, the path ahead was fraught with danger, and their next steps needed to be carefully planned.

The following day, they met with Vivian at a secluded café, one known for its quiet ambiance and discreet clientele. Vivian was already there, sipping coffee and scanning the room with an air of casual alertness. Her cheerful demeanor was a stark contrast to the gravity of their situation.

As Nathaniel and Rain approached, Vivian waved them over. "Hey there! I was just going over the intel. You guys find anything exciting?"

Rain sat down, still buzzing from the previous night's discovery. "You could say that. We found the secret room and documented the weapons. It's quite a haul."

Vivian's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Nice work! That room is a gold mine. But remember, the more we uncover, the more dangerous it gets."

Nathaniel took out the photos they had taken of the weapons and spread them out on the table. "We have a lot of pieces to fit together. We need to understand what these weapons are capable of and why Calloway would want them."

Vivian examined the photos closely. "The beam gun and the body suit are particularly interesting. I've heard rumors that the beam gun can cut through almost anything, and the body suit might enhance physical abilities or provide invisibility. These are not ordinary artifacts."

Rain leaned in, her eyes narrowing. "If Calloway has access to these, he could wield a lot of power. We need to find out more about their origins and how they're connected to him."

Before they could delve deeper into their discussion, Vivian's phone buzzed. She glanced at the screen and her expression shifted to one of concern. "I've just received some troubling news. There's been a development on campus. Tyrence and Cris have been poking around the library and the Business Management building."

Nathaniel's heart sank. "What are they doing there? Are they onto us?"

Vivian nodded grimly. "It seems so. They've been seen investigating the same areas we were. If they find out what we discovered, it could jeopardize everything."

Rain's face hardened with determination. "We need to get ahead of them. If they uncover our findings, Calloway could learn about our plans before we're ready."

Vivian agreed. "I'll try to gather more intel on their activities and see if I can get a sense of what they know. In the meantime, you two need to stay under the radar and make sure they don't catch wind of your involvement."

With that, Vivian excused herself, promising to update them as soon as she had more information. Nathaniel and Rain watched her leave, their minds racing with the implications of the new threat.

They returned to their apartment and reviewed their strategy. The pressure was mounting, and they knew they had to act quickly. Their next step was to further investigate Dr. Calloway's connections to the ancient weapons and find a way to leverage this new information against him.

Later that evening, as they prepared for their next move, Nathaniel and Rain decided to visit the library again to see if they could find any additional clues. They were about to head out when Nathaniel received a message from CHROME.

The message was brief but urgent: "New intel suggests that Calloway is planning a major meeting at the university. His associates are gathering, and security will be heightened. We believe this meeting could reveal critical information about his operations. Proceed with caution."

Nathaniel and Rain exchanged a look of understanding. This meeting could be their chance to gather more information about Calloway's plans and potentially expose his network. But it also meant heightened risk, with increased security and the possibility of encountering Tyrence and Cris.

Determined to seize the opportunity, they made their way to the university, blending in with the evening crowd. They approached the Business Management building with a mixture of anticipation and anxiety.

Inside, they moved stealthily through the corridors, using their knowledge of the building's layout to avoid detection. They reached a vantage point where they could observe the meeting room without being seen.

Through a small window, they saw Dr. Calloway surrounded by several high-ranking associates, all engaged in a heated discussion. Their voices were muffled, but Nathaniel and Rain could make out key phrases about upcoming projects and strategic moves.

As they listened intently, Nathaniel's mind raced with thoughts of how to use this information to their advantage. They needed to gather as much evidence as possible without getting caught.

Suddenly, Nathaniel's phone buzzed with a new message from Vivian. It read: "I've managed to get some intel on Tyrence and Cris. They're suspicious of unusual activity around the library and the Business Management building. Be extra careful."

Nathaniel showed the message to Rain. "Looks like we need to wrap this up quickly. If Tyrence and Cris are closing in, we don't have much time."

They continued to gather what they could, taking detailed notes and capturing photographs of the meeting. As they prepared to leave, Nathaniel noticed a familiar figure in the distance—Tyrence, who was surveying the area with a look of intense focus.

"Rain, we need to go. Now," Nathaniel whispered urgently. "Tyrence is here, and we're running out of time."

They made their way out of the building, avoiding detection and blending into the crowd. Once outside, they breathed a sigh of relief, but the encounter had only heightened their sense of urgency.

With the new information from the meeting and the growing threat from Tyrence and Cris, Nathaniel and Rain knew they had to stay one step ahead. They returned to their apartment and began to strategize their next move, determined to uncover the full extent of Dr. Calloway's corruption and bring him to justice.

As they worked late into the night, their bond grew stronger, forged in the crucible of their shared mission. The stakes were higher than ever, and their fight against the shadows of betrayal and corruption was far from over.
