Eventually, I will be going through my entire fanfiction to edit/fix any mistakes I've made and fix some timeline issues.
Creatures of the Night- 5x1 - Genotype- 6x18, Only have a few individual scenes per episode, (some don't have any scenes at all) of moments where any of my OCs (Chloe, Annette, William, Astra, Elijah, Nichols, Ethan) or characters I saved that are dead in the actual show, are mentioned, or texted/called, or any scenes they're involved in. You don't necessarily have to read these, it can be hard to follow without the whole episode, and I'll be explaining everything in Broken Glass- 6x19 and The Wolves of War- 6x20 anyway. I just figured it'd be cool to try and fill that really annoying S5-6 gap for Chloe and Derek.
Scenes that happen one right after the other are written as "normal" (I guess I don't know the right word to use), but scenes that are written with other scenes in between (??) are separated by "~~~~". You'll hopefully understand when you see it, I was just trying to explain it... and I guess I failed miserably lol.

As we all know, after William's fight with Chloe at the Sheriff Station in Season Two, he was locked away in Eichen House, where he made his appearances in Season Three. We don't learn this until Season Six, but in Season Five during the Eichen House Lock down when Peter escaped... he wasn't the only one.
After getting out, knowing that they would come for him, William took desperate magical measures to completely change his outward appearance.
