Armaan had no idea why his baby was fuming. Did he mess up again? His heart started beating faster again. If there's anything he fears the most, is her leaving him. He can bear any kind of losses but her leaving him, even for an hour, makes him utterly unhinged. The fear of losing her is so deeply rooted in his heart.
He knows very well, he has made tremendous mistakes, and he isn't even worthy of her sympathy, affection is thus a faraway thought. But Armaan Poddar is utterly selfish. He would do anything to keep her with him. It doesn't matter what others might feel.
"Ira, please mujhe batao hua kya hai. Me sort karta hu na. Tum please gussa mat karo. Dar lagta hai yaar. Me hoon na yaha. Let's sort it out together."
Abhira took a deep breath and forwarded him the papers. Armaan looked confused but took the papers from her hand. He started reading the papers.
He was horrified. The clauses were humiliating. He was beyond angry. This time Kaveri Poddar had crossed her limits. According to these clauses, his wife can't work after marriage, she can't demand money from him. No financial security, no property security. In short, Abhira will be the puppet of the house, with no will of her. And that's what he won't let happen. It's time to cut off the ties before they break his wife, just like how they did with his Shivani maa. And he won't let it happen. He might have not fought for her before, but he refused to be another Madhav Poddar who will silently listen to the disrespect the family members dish out regarding his wife.
Armaan took a breath, cupped her face and pulled her closer and said,
"Iru jaan, I promise mujhe sach me in sab ke baarein me kuch nahi pata tha. But now I know, snd i promise you won't have to sign this crap. Neither I will allow these bastards to humiliate you further. Jo bhi me karunga, please don't oppose. Jo bhi me karunga woh hamari safety ke liye hoga jaan. Pack your bags, Ira. I had enough of their disrespect. I won't tolerate it anymore. We are leaving this hell behind."
"Par family Armaan?" Abhira asked worriedly.
"They won't let you live peacefully till they break you to pieces. And I won't be able to see you like that. Please let's leave. After years I have got the courage to leave. Please, don't think about those people who are likely to strike at you without any thought. Please." Armaan pleaded.
Abhira looked at Armaan's face and knew that leaving was the best option. These people won't let her live peacefully. And she knows this by experience. Especially Roohi. With the way she is creating blocks in her marriage, she will do something big to separate her and Armaan and she won't allow this to happen. Abhira cupped Armaan's face and said,
"Okay. I will pack the bags. Don't confront till we have our bags packed. So that we won't have to stay anymore. We have to think of our living arrangements also."
"We will be leaving for Pune by tonight. I have a home there. Separate from the Poddars. I always have kept a backup plan for myself. I know very well that I am easily replaced. So, I had to safeguard my own interests. Now it's time to use resources. Don't worry. I won't let any harm come on you. You just pack your things. I know how to sort this out." Armaan said.
Abhira moved towards the outhouse along with the prenup papers. Armaan went inside and as he was crossing the hall he dashed with Roohi. Seeing her face his anger knew no bounds and he shouted angrily,
"Dikhayi nahi deta kya. Ya andhi ho. Theek se chal bhi nahi sakti sb tum. Dusro ki zindagi me kya chal raha hai yeh bada pata hota hai tumhe. Usse acha apni doobti zindagii par concentrate karo. Kisi ka bhala nahi kar sakti na toh kuch mat Kiya Karo tum. Bewakoof kahiki. Actually, galti meri hai ki me tumhari jaisi aurat se behes kar raha hu. There's no use shouting at you. You are utterly shameless and have no self-respect. Next time don't even come in front of my face. Pathetic woman."
