Abhira was packing her luggage. She had an exceptional offer letter in her bag that she secured from one of the top firms, RS advocacy, and she was damn proud of that. She knew when she rejected the offer of joining Poddar firms, Kaveri Poddar apparently will take that on her ego just like always. That's why she wanted to try and apply straight in the enemy's lair.

It's been three months apparently since she married Armaan. And frankly she has come to regret it utterly. It's like she has personally stepped into her own hell. The mental abuse was too much to bear. She was sure if their beloved Roohi was infertile, no one would have bat an eyelash. But no it's Abhira, the one who wasn't wanted. She kept quiet till now thinking about Armaan. But now when she finally found the proof of the reports being rigged, she knew it's better to leave than bear the torment silently.

Roohi might act like a saint, trying to be goody two shoes, but she knows very well, people like her don't change in half a day. A woman who wanted to marry her husband despite being married to the brother, can't change within seconds. She was sure that Roohi is involved with the reports being fake. Oh, she is going to destroy his entire family the moment she is safely out of this house.

She is actually disappointed in Armaan. Her husband might be a great lawyer outside the house, but apparently in real life he is completely spineless. Why is she even hoping from me, she never understood. Armaan might want to be second Madhav Poddar, who silently listens to all the bullshit and never fights in defense, she refuses to be Shivani Poddar. She won't allow them to break her till she loses her will to live. This is not what her mother wanted for her. Her parents had seen dreams for her. Her mother raised her single handedly, not for this day so that she silently suffers through abuse.

Armaan might like to bear the abuse, but she had no ties to his family. As much as she cared for Armaan it wasn't enough for her. If your partner doesn't respect you, there's no use of being married then. Her mother told her how much respect matters in a marriage.

Tonight no one was at home, as everyone was attending a marriage of relatives, and they all were outstation. Only she and Armaan were at home. Because they aren't family. She never understood why Armaan is even begging for their scraps of attention, when they always proved that they don't think of him as a part of the family.

Abhira finally packed her luggage. Just then Armaan walked in. Abhira looked at him and silently prayed that after this maybe Armaan will understand and gain his senses back. In reality both of them need therapy to handle the abuse they have been heaped upon by the Poddars.

Armaan was scared. He knew something was going to go very wrong. His heart was beating fast.

"Where are you going?" Armaan asked fearfully.

The fear in his tone made her want to just hug him, but she put on a brave facade and said sternly.

"Away. Away from this hell."

"Are you leaving me? You can't do that. We just got married." Armaan said, coming near her.

"That's what I want to say, Armaan. We are just married, and I am tired. I am tired of everything." Abhira said. The recall of the abuse she has suffered suddenly brought a vindictive energy in her.

"We will sort it out Abhira." He held her hand. But she pulled it away, breaking his heart.

For a minute second, she felt utterly satisfied seeing the hurt look in his eyes.

"We can't sort anything, especially when you turn blind to the abuse your pathetic family dishes out to me. Every single day, I am the one suffering in this house. But no one sees that. Everyone wants to show how much their pain is bigger. But what about me? What about my sufferings, my pain. No one sees the amount of tears I have shed because of your disgusting family. I forgave everyone for all the crimes they committed against me. But you all really don't deserve it.
