The night's peacefulness came to an end as the muffled music in the palace and the sounds of heavy breathing coming from three woman broke the silence throughout the town.

Minji bent down and rested her palms against her knees as she tried to catch her breath before a certain noise caught her attention. Her gaze moved over to the large palace's balcony, seeing three other people standing at the balcony. Minji squinted her eyes. It's probably just some random people... Her vision becoming clearer as she squinted. Kang Haerin. Minji's eyes widened, she looked at the other two. Kang Hyein and Heesung.

Minji recalled the last time she met Heesung, it was a questionable encounter. And Hyein... She's just Hyein.

Minji was awoken from her nap due to loud shouting coming from outside her parent's mansion. Letting out a long groan, she forced herself up from the couch where she was previously sleeping on and walked outside to the front gate. A familiar yet displeasing face was standing behind the front gate, looking rather angry. "Heesung, what do you want. I didn't cause any trouble to the Kang's" Minji said in a irritated tone, raising up one hand to massage her head.

"Yeah, you didn't. But you know who did? One word. Your parents." Heesung answered with his arms crossed and had a proud look on his face. His answer caused Minji to giggle. "That's two words idiot. Now go away, my parents isn't any of your business" Minji replied to Heesung with a wave of her hand. Irritation etched in her tone. Seeing his eyes widen as his face start to flare up, that was Minji's cue to call the guards. Watching as the guards dragged Heesung away with him struggling to get out of the guards grasp while cursing at Minji. "You and your family will pay for this Minji! I swear..." Heesung's words faded out as he was pulled farther and farther away. Once Jay was far away enough, Minji scoffed and returned back inside her home so she could take her well deserved nap.

Minji let out a soft chuckle, but it was loud enough for Hanni and Danielle to hear. Giving her weird looks as she stared at them back. "What?" Minji asked with on hand up. "Are you insane or what, why did you suddenly laugh in this type of situation?" Hanni said, her gaze slowly moving to the balcony before a smirk formed. "Oh... We're you smirking at the little old Kang Haerin?" Hanni teased Minji, pointing her index finger at Minji with a knowing smirk. "Just to remind you, a few hours ago, Ni-ki proposed to her. So you probably don't have a chance" Hanni added, her face now serious.

Minji narrowed her eyes at Hanni. She felt angry. But it was not Hanni who she was angry at, when Hanni reminded her that Ni-ki proposed to Haerin, she could not help but feel her blood boil. Why is she thinking about this, she should just mind her business since it is a marriage but she does not know why she feels like this. Minji clenched her jaw.

"Woah chill your tits down Minji, I can see your fists alright" Hanni's voice broke Minji out of her thoughts and made Danielle crack up, letting out soft laughter. Minji's gaze moved down to her hands, it was curled into a ball tightly and her knuckles had turned white. She had unconsciously balled up her hands without even knowing and she knows the reason why. Haerin. Minji let out a deep sigh, ushering her friends to go back home. Not knowing three certain people were staring at them this whole time.

(Haerin's pov)

Staring as the three figures made their way through the peaceful streets, Hyein, Heesung and I looked at each other. "Who are those three, Heesung?" Hyein spoke up. "Bunch of nobody's, we don't need to know them..." Heesung said, his voice cold and devoted of any emotion. However when he saw Hyein's and my pleading look, he sighed. "Okay fine, they aren't nobody's obviously. They're The Kim's, the one's that are causing all your familie's troubles. Actually only one is. The tallest one is The Kim. The shorter one is Marsh Danielle, Kim's friend. And the shortest is Pham Hanni, another one of Kim's friend," Heesung explained as he leaned against the railing.

Huffing out a deep sigh. He looked over to us and said with a serious look. "Never. And I mean never, get yourself involved with them. They are nothing but troublemakers," Me and Hyein looked at each other before nodding our heads. Heesung soon walked straightened his back and patted our shoulders. "Okay, it's time for me to go. Gotta do my duty as a guard ya'know?" Heesung said happily, dragging the way he said 'okay' and made it sound like 'oookay' as he tried his best to lighten up the mood. Soon he took big and large steps away from the balcony, Hyein and I could feel the ground shaking.

Once Jay was long gone, Hyein let out a chuckle. "Jay is funny, but I do want to know 'The Kids', they seem so cool" Hyein whined, resting her head against the railing of the balcony. I raised my hand to pat her back "The Kim's, Hyein. Not the kids" I told Hyein with a blank look on my face, I continued to stare at the area where I last saw 'The Kim's'. I felt a shiver run through my spine. 'The Kim's' were a powerful family, possibly even more powerful than her's. They created way too much trouble for her family, and in many different ways.

But those thoughts drifted from 'The Kim's' to a certain Kim. Kim Minji. My blank face soon had a small smile, Hyein would have thought I was insane if she had been looking at my direction.

I turned my head over to look at Hyein. "Hyein... Do you, by chance, ever know anything about the tallest Kim? You know... The Kim Minji?" I asked with a hint of curiosity. Hyein's eyes widened, it was never normal for me to be so intrigued about something, let alone someone. Hyein's shocked face soon turned into a playful smirk. "Uh oh, seems like Miss Kitty Kang is interested in someone~ but no I don't know. Sorry that I can't help you with your fantasies!" Hyein taunted me. My smile turned into a frown, using my hand that was patting Hyein's back, I used it to hit the back of her head as hard as I could, causing her to let out a yelp of pain. Rubbing the back of her head, she let out a pout.

"Just... Help me here! She seems really interesting. Come on, anything you know? Oh and don't tell anyone" I pleaded before raising my hand, threatening to hit her again with the same force, I soon lowered it as I saw Hyein's sad expression. "Haerin... I don't think it's a good idea. Heesung already warned us not to be involved. Come on, maybe it's just the party that's making you different, let's go take a nap. Naps are always on our side," Hyein said, wrapping her arm around my shoulder as she dragged me over to our bedroom. Looking around before closing the door and sitting down, dragging me down too.  Before standing up again, what is up with this girl? With a mischievous look, she finally spoke up.

"Okay. Sorry about that outside. People could hear us you know? Anyways. Now I can tell you, everything I know about Kim."
