Alexis POV:
"Just pay attention next time and don't blame me for what happened and that was on you, you lied to me and your ex-girlfriend and that girl doesn't deserve you if your hiding that from her"
That phrase kept playing in my mind over and over again
Now there's something that Kaitlyn is hiding from me, I trusted her and confided in her but she won't confide in me
What am I supposed to do now
There was a knock at the front door and I opened it to see none other than Zane himself
"Hey Alexis, mind if I come in?"
He had a worried look on his face as I let him in
"It's just you here?"
"Ummm yeah, why you ask?"
Zane opened his phone and showed me text messages between Kaitlyn and this random girl
"What..... how did you get those?"
"It's best if I explain it to you"
Me and Zane take a sheet on the couch as he tells me everything from what happened between Kaitlyn and her ex-girlfriend
"Is that what she hasn't told me this whole time?"
I start to have tears pouring out of my eyes as Zane puts a hand on my shoulder
"I had to do it just to show you."
I turn to Zane in confusion
"What are you talking about?"
"The girl is actually a close friend of mine, ever since I first interacted with you, Kaitlyn wasn't so nice to me and didn't want me involved. She's always done that with any girl she meets so I was done with her treating me like that so I had to show you who she truly is"
I couldn't believe the words Zane has been telling me
"I'm so sorry for ruining this for you."
I shake my head
"You didn't, I was blinded by the lies and let myself feel again."
I got up and walk towards the door and then turned to Zane
"Mind taking me to her place, I want to know for sure"
Zane nods and grabs his eyes
"With pleasure"
A few minutes later we end up at her place as I go to open the door and the dream pops up in my head
A premonition, like Final Destination
I open the door and hear certain noises from upstairs
No no no no
I walk towards the door of noise and slowly open the door to see Kaitlyn and the girl together
"What is this?"
Kaitlyn shot up from her spot as the girl slowly got up and tuned to Kaitlyn
"Good luck"
She grabbed her stuff and walked towards me and nodded
"Now you know the truth, thank Zane for this idea"
She walk past me as I shut the door behind me and stare at Kaitlyn
"Why did you accept her deal?"
Kaitlyn face grew red in what she looked angry
"Wait, you set me up for this, I trusted you!"
I laugh
"What do you know about trust? I trusted you and confided in you about my mother and my family but you couldn't trust me to tell me this and no I didn't set you up, Zane did"
Kaitlyn's face lost its color
"There's no way he would do this"
"Talk to him yourself"
I turn around to look at the door and open it but stop
"Don't bother talking to me or saying anything to me, and if you do, then something will happen to you and it won't be pretty"
3rd person POV:
Alexis closes the door behind her and walk outside to leave
Kaitlyn was left there swallowed in her own sadness as she covered herself in a blanket and cried
"Thank you Zane, if it weren't for you, then I would've been dragged on"
Zane gave a small nod
"We were gonna let things go and see if she'd change but...."
Alexis shakes her head
"I'm not mad that you guys were gonna wait, I'm actually glad you guys did something, if it went any further then things would've been worse."
They end up driving and talking a bit more until Zane arrives at Alexis place
"You alright being on your own?"
Alexis nods
"Yeah trust me, I'll be okay. School basically got canceled for the year since something was wrong I don't know."
Zane chuckles
"True, hell I don't even remember"
Alexis and Zane wave each other goodbye as Alexis walks inside and falls on the couch
I'm not sad or mad, I just had a feeling this was gonna happen sooner or later
Alexis grabs her phone and gives a friend a call
"Hey Carly, I'm afraid something happened"
"Let me guess, Zane did what he did"
"Yeah"
"You're not mad at us are you?"
"No, I'm grateful actually, I think I'm just gonna take this time to work on myself a bit more and see if I can graduate early"
"WAIT SERIOUSLY?"
"Yes Carly, it'll be good and plus I am eligible to do that anyway"
"Okay if you say so Alexis but I gotta go, Me and Sarah are......"
"Yeah I know what your doing (✂️)
"HEY, DO NOT DO....."
Alexis hangs up the phone laughing, she's not mad or sad it went this way but now she can work on herself and become better
Morgan POV:
I'm at my house alone as I get a phone call on my phone
"Who is this?"
"It's Sarah"
"Oh hey Sarah how did the plan go?"
"Perfectly, I do feel a bit bad cause she was my friend but she deserved it"
"Yeah I'm gonna have to agree"
The line felt dead as I didn't know what to say or do
"Morgan, just to let you know, I wouldn't make any moves on Alexis."
"I wasn't planning to, she don't even know who I am anyway"
"Just be careful of you see her around"
"I will"
With a small goodbye, I lay on my bed with a small smile on my face
That's good, but I'm worried what Kaitlyn will do now

Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn, you know better than that to fall for a simple trick, I thought you were smarter than that
(Yes I did this to kinda write Kaitlyn off for a bit)
But now with Kaitlyn out of the picture, what does this mean for Alexis, how will she come back from this
