**Title: Mr. John’s Stubborn Rabbit**

Mr. John had a rabbit who was known for one thing—being stubborn. The rabbit, named **Snowball**, was loving and playful, but he had one flaw: he absolutely hated staying indoors. No matter how much Mr. John tried to keep him in the cozy, warm house, Snowball was always itching to explore the world outside.

Mr. John did his best to keep Snowball entertained inside. He gave him plenty of carrots, toys, and a soft bed to sleep on. But Snowball had dreams of adventure, dreams that took him far beyond the walls of Mr. John’s home.

As Christmas time approached, Snowball’s curiosity grew stronger. The house was filled with the smell of gingerbread and hot cocoa, but outside, the snow glittered like diamonds, and the world seemed more magical than ever. Snowball longed to feel the crunch of snow beneath his paws, to explore the vast, snowy wonderland that lay just beyond the gate.

One chilly morning, Snowball finally found his chance. The door to the backyard had been left open just a crack, and that was all he needed. In a flash, Snowball darted outside, hopping through the snow with excitement. The world was so big and beautiful—there were tall trees, sparkling icicles, and strange, fun sounds he had never heard before. He hopped and danced in the snow, feeling more free than ever.

But as the day went on, Snowball realized something—he was lost. The yard, the gate, and Mr. John’s warm house were nowhere to be found. The excitement turned to fear as Snowball hopped through the snow, desperately trying to find his way back. The world that had once seemed so adventurous now felt cold, unfamiliar, and frightening.

Meanwhile, Mr. John noticed that Snowball was missing. He called out for him, searching every corner of the house. When he realized that Snowball had escaped, he rushed outside into the snow, heart pounding with worry. “Snowball! Where are you?” he shouted as he searched the yard, the streets, and every snowy corner.

As Mr. John searched frantically, Snowball was facing his worst fear. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a large dog creeping toward him, its eyes fixed on him like a predator eyeing its prey. Snowball froze in terror, his tiny heart beating wildly in his chest. He had never seen a dog before, but instinct told him this was danger.

Just as the dog was about to pounce, Mr. John appeared. “Snowball!” he yelled, racing toward them. With a loud clap and a shout, Mr. John scared the dog away, sending it running in the opposite direction.

Snowball, trembling and terrified, looked up at Mr. John with wide eyes. Mr. John scooped him up in his arms, holding him close. “You silly rabbit,” he said softly, relieved. “I told you it’s not safe out here by yourself.”

Snowball snuggled into Mr. John’s arms, feeling sorry for his stubbornness. The warmth of his owner’s embrace reminded him of the cozy home he had taken for granted. He had learned his lesson—adventure was fun, but safety and love were far more important.

From that day on, Snowball never tried to escape the house again. If he ever wanted to explore, it was only when Mr. John was with him. Together, they would take walks through the garden or sit outside in the sun, but Snowball was always close by Mr. John’s side.

Christmas came and went, and Snowball found joy not in the wild adventures he once dreamed of, but in the simple pleasures of home. There was no place better than being safe and loved by Mr. John.

And so, Snowball’s days of being a stubborn, wandering rabbit were over. He had found where he truly belonged.
