Chapter 14: "Why?!"

Luke's POV (past)

While I was walking to the kitchen, I felt my heart clench for a second, It's our mate she's gone.
WTF ARE YOU SAYING?!
It can't be, no it's not possible, she wouldn't do that, would she?
My thoughts we're interrupted immediantly by my beta.

"Alpha, Zoe run away."

Zoe's POV (present)

"Why do you want me to comeback?"

He didn't say anything.

So I asked again and again and again until he answered me.

"Just shut up OK?!"

"I won't shut up until you tell why you went to get in New York"

He stopped the car and looked me right in the eyes.

"BECAUSE I NEED YOU. When you left I discovered I was in love with you, too in love for my own sake."

"Let's pretend I believe you and move on to why you did the bet"

"What? How do you know?" He asked confused

"The day I run away I eard you talking about the bet, nos why did you do it?"

" I did it because I was stupid and I thought you being my mate it would be easier to win the bet, but now it's not about the bet anymore because I fell for you, I love you"

"I don't believe you"

I got out from the car and start running but I don't go far because Luke catches up with me .

He grabs my wrist and turns me around.

We we're only inches apart.

"I won't let you out of my life again,that was a mistake that I won't make again"

Then out of nowhere started raining.

We look into eachothers eyes and in a swift movement Luke crashes his lips against mine in a sweet but lustful kiss.

I responded immediatly.

It felt like hours we've been kissing when Luke breaks the kiss and we're forehead against forehead and looks me in the eyes.

"You don't know how much I missed you these months, now let's get out of here or we're going to catch a cold"

He grabbed my hand and we run hand in hand to the car.
