The lore of Aval

Chapter 1

In the beginning, there was chaos.
The universe was made of different rocks, encapsulating magic like a gigantic energy orb.

Then, the Big Crush happened.

Some of the energy in the planets was too much to be contained.
Some of the planets combusted, sending their pieces and energy throughout the universe. Most of it collapsed against other planets, transforming them forever.

Throughout millions of years, the newly formed planets began to evolve.
The new energy mixed with the energy coming out of the cracks of the planets, creating different forms of life, different atmospheres, and, some of them, intelligent life.

The first civilizations.

Our planet, Ssalgbro, is divided into different regions called Continents.
There are five continents in our planet: Aval, Balhar, Cellaer, Dundrah,and Elphab.
In this issue, we are going to focus on the continent of Aval.

Aval is the eldest of the continents.
Its history can be traced all the way to 3500 b.c., to the first civilizations.
Let's start.

The discovery of magic : the Sums.

The first ever civilization to be in record is the Sums.
Their scriptures in the ruines of their old caves, primitive houses, and stones found mostly on the kindoms of Ertha-Vulkan and Innanty. Their magic is known as the Old Magic.

The first people in developing magical attributes were considered to be Gods.
The eldest in record are :
Tlalokh, the Shape-shifting God from Ertha-Vulkan; and Helh, the Lady of Whispers, a mind-reader.

With time, more and more "Gods" appeared.
The strongest became leaders of different villages, later turned into the kingdoms we know today.
