Chapter 2: Meeting Kurama

Third pov:

It was a late cool spring evening and Naruto could be seen running down the streets of Konoha. Naruto had read a book on bijuu which he found in the library. After reading the book he found out that the Kyuubi and all tail beasts were beings made of pure chakra meaning they could not be killed. Naruto weaves through the crowd heading to his father's stone head. When Naruto reached the top of his father's stone head he sat on top. While he sat there Naruto looked down at Konoha village.

Naruto-*Thinks silently to himself*'I have to know the truth. I need to know if Dad really sealed the nine tails inside me.' *After that thought he whispers*"Kyuubi, if you are truly inside me, I want to meet you, please."

It was a full 10 minutes with nothing happening. Naruto was about to give up and head back to the camp that he had been staying in for the past 5 months after being kicked out of the orphanage on his fourth birthday. Naruto had known that he would be thrown from the orphanage as he overheard the workers talking it over as well as planning to do so. Naruto had been lucky that he had been secretly preparing since the age of three to be kicked out of the orphanage or if he chose to run away from the orphanage. However, before he could give up trying Naruto was pulled into his own mind. Naruto opened his eyes finding himself in a dark corridor. Naruto looks around narrowing his eyes.

Naruto-*thinks in disgust*'Is this my mindscape?'

Naruto shakes his head to focus on the matter at hand. Naruto then starts walking choosing to head straight. After a few minutes of walking before stopping when he sees some light at the end of the corridor. For some reason, Naruto felt drawn to the light as if some unknown force was pulling him to it.

Naruto- 'Finally the end time to find out what is at the end.'

With that thought, he started walking again, stopping only when he was a few feet from the end. It was a huge room, so large and vast that the ceiling was impossible to find. Naruto looks around at his surroundings. Naruto sees is what looks just like the sewer tunnels of Konoha however the water is ankle-deep not three feet above the head-deep. However, that was not the strangest thing about the place no the strangest thing about his mindscape in his opinion would have to be the large iron barred door with a tag on it that said seal. Naruto gazed at the tag resignation was written within his eyes. His blue eyes looked past the cage, looking for what he knew was being held in the cage. He was just waiting for the Kyuubi to open his eyes. Based on what he read in the books about tail beasts the kyuubi was a verb of pure hatred and evil. According to the book, all tail beasts were mindless beasts capable of destruction on a scale that had never been dreamt of before. 

Naruto did not know if what the book is actually true. As Naruto waited he heard a growl come from the cage, sending a breath of hot air in Naruto's face. Naruto steeled himself, in spite of the cage separating him from the beast within. An enormous red eye opened, causing Naruto to slightly tense up. The eyes look at Naruto as if evaluating him. After a few seconds, the eye started to rise, causing Naruto to look up at the massive form. The Kyuubi had orange, silky-looking fur, with black markings around the eyes connected to funnily enough his rabbit-like ears. The upper body was humanoid, including the hands. The lower body was just a fox, barring nine long tails that were swaying behind him. Looking at the tails Naruto could not help but think was the closest thing to compare them to was flames. His eyes had red slits in the center of them and was filled with malice.
