“Bell! Behind you!” Lili shouted, her voice urgent. Bell spun around just in time to see a swarm of bees barreling toward him.

“Firebolt!” he shouted, sending a blast of flames from his palm. The bees vaporized in an instant, leaving behind a trail of smoke.

“That’s the last of them,” Bell said, scanning the area. “Let’s head back.”

The group trudged toward the dungeon exit, their packs heavy with loot. Lili peeked into her pouch, her eyes sparkling at the sight of shiny trinkets and valuables. “Look at all this loot! We’re going to make a fortune!” Her voice dropped to a playful whisper, just loud enough for everyone to hear. “With this, I can buy some cute clothes… and maybe, just maybe, Bell-sama will finally fall head over heels for me.” She giggled to herself.

Bell flushed, scratching the back of his head with a nervous laugh, but chose not to comment on her open intentions.

As they neared the exit, Mikoto stretched, letting out a contented sigh. “Ahh… the smell of Orario never gets old.”

Welf’s stomach growled. “I could really go for something to eat. How about we hit the pub?”

Before Bell could respond, his own stomach answered with a loud growl. His cheeks turned pink, earning a smirk from Lili. “Well, sounds like your stomach agrees,” she teased.

“Alright, alright,” Bell muttered, his face still flushed. “Let’s go to the Hostess of Fertility.”

Just as they started walking, a panicked shout rang out. “There’s a monster!”

“What!? A monster outside the dungeon!?” Mikoto gasped, her hand already on her sword.

Bell’s eyes locked onto the source of the chaos—a massive creature rampaging through the streets, its hulking form smashing buildings left and right. At its feet, an elderly woman was struggling to flee. Without hesitation, Bell sprinted toward her.

“Are you hurt?” he asked as he reached her, his voice gentle despite the chaos.

“I-I'm fine, but that monster… it came out of nowhere!” she stammered, still trembling. “I don’t know how it got here…”

Bell frowned. “A monster outside the dungeon…? This doesn’t make sense.”

“Bell! What’s going on?” His familia caught up to him, their faces filled with concern.

“There’s a new monster in the city, and it’s causing serious damage,” Bell said, keeping his voice steady.

“A new monster!?” Lili’s eyes went wide. “But that’s impossible! How did it get out here?”

“Lili, take this woman to safety!” Bell ordered, his tone sharp.

“O-Okay!” Lili nodded, but as she guided the woman away, she couldn’t resist glancing back at Bell. “You owe me one, Bell-sama!” she called cheekily over her shoulder.

Bell rolled his eyes but smiled.

The group quickly regrouped and ran toward the source of the destruction. As they neared, the sight of the monster came into full view. It was massive, its body seemingly made of thick, black liquid that oozed continuously from its form. A single, glowing yellow eye glared down at them from its grotesque face.
