Reita burst through the mansion door, a wide grin on his face. "I'm back, everyone!"

The room went silent as everyone turned to stare at the two bags of money he held. Lili was the first to speak. "Where did you get all that money?"

"Where else? The dungeon, obviously. I heard that I can make money from drop item in there." Reita replied with a casual shrug.

"By yourself?" Mikoto asked, her forehead glistening with sweat.

"Yeah. Why all the questions?" Reita threw one of the bags onto the table. "By the way, the drop from the 30th floor is amazing. And look at this, I brought back a ton of valis."

Welf choked on his tea, spilling it everywhere. "W-Wait, you went that deep? Alone?!"

"Of course I did," Reita said, meeting Welf's shocked gaze. Welf staggered back, rubbing his temples as if trying to process the information.

"Is it really that hard to get that far?" Reita asked, genuinely confused.

Hestia stood up abruptly, her face stern. "Yes! It’s nearly impossible to reach the 30th floor without a party and proper preparations!" She wagged her finger at him, her tone both angry and worried.

Mikoto's voice was soft but curious. "How did you manage?"

"I just rushed in and killed everything that came my way," Reita said nonchalantly.

Mikoto fell silent, eyes wide. "You… You just jumped into groups of monsters?"

"Yes," Reita repeated, annoyed at having to explain himself yet again. "Oh, and I ran into a Minotaur. His name, I think, was Asterius."

The room went dead quiet.

"But don’t worry," Reita added quickly. "I punched him back into the dungeon depths."

Before anyone could respond, the door slammed open. Bell stormed in, grabbing Reita by the collar. "What were you doing with Aiz outside the dungeon!?" he demanded, his voice shaking with anger.

Reita blinked. "Bell? Why are you—"

"I saw you holding her hand!" Bell cut him off, his face red and eyes teary.

"Bell. I think you got it wro-" Reita began, but Bell didn't wait for an explanation. He ran to his room, slamming the door behind him.

Reita sighed. "Looks like he likes her. I guess?"

He followed after Bell, knocking on the door. "Bell, open up. You’ve got it all wrong."

No response.

"Bell, we don’t have that kind of relationship. Aiz isn’t my type at all," Reita continued. "If you’re wondering, I prefer cute girls, and honestly, Aiz… isn’t that cute."

A loud thud came from inside the room, and then the door creaked open. Bell peeked out, his face a mix of relief and confusion.

"Hello there," Reita said with a grin, stepping inside.

Reita sat on the edge of the bed, placing the bags of money in the corner. "Listen, you misunderstood."

"You’re wrong!" Bell shouted suddenly.

"About what?"

"Aiz is the cutest! She’s a thousand times cuter than any other girl!" Bell crossed his arms, launching into a passionate speech about Aiz’s many virtues. He didn’t stop for what felt like an hour.
