Lily Gilbert Potter (N. Mikaelson & D. Salvatore)

Chapter One

HI EVERYONE I AM SO SORRY FOR UPDATING SO LATE. I HAD VACATION LAST WEEK AND I TOOK THAT TIME TO RELAX BECAUSE I NEEDED TO REGELATE MYSELF AFTER PRELIMS AND TO PREPARE MYSELF CONSIDERING I ONLY HAVE TO WEEKS OF SCHOOL  BEFORE END EXAMS START. AND MY MATRIC FAREWELL IS FRIDAY SO I HAVE BEEN ALSO TRYING TO NOT SCRATCH BECAUSE UNFORTUNETLY I AM A SCRATCHER. 

Also sorry for any spelling mistakes . I am waiting for my new glasses. I am getting them on Wednesday but until then I am stuck with my current glasses. 

I look up at the house in front of me. I was back. After I ran away from home in fifth year I swore to myself I would never return. Ever. For 11 years i was stuck in this hell hole in front of me. Then my saving grace arrived when I turned 11. My letter to a Magical school. Hogwarts saved me. I just wish that I wasn't dropped off at the doorsteps of the Gilberts 17 years ago. 

Flashback :

(3rd pov)

It was winter in America and freaking bloody cold outside. It was a quiet cold night in Mystic Falls. There wasn't anything different than any other night ... Except for the crying baby left on the doorsteps of the Gilbert family Home. A beautiful baby girl who's parents was murdered only a few hours earlier. While there was an air of sadness in Mystic falls, the same definitely couldn't be said for London. The Wizarding community was in celebration as Voldemort was finally defeated. And while they were celebrating only three people were mourning those lost of dear friends/ students and the fact that Lillian Gilbert Potter would have to grow up without any parents. Sirius Black, Remus Potter and Minerva McGonagall. 

As the night turned into day Miranda Gilbert made her way outside the home to water her plants when she found the baby girl outside on her doorstep. "Grayson come here now!" Miranda close the door just as her husband come into view. His eyes widen seeing the baby girl in his wife's arms. "Where did you get her?" His voice comes out shaky but quietly as he had another child in his arms. "I found her outside on our doorstep.. Can keep her. We can adopt her like we did with Elena and just say the two are twins. We wanted more children any ways." 

Five years later:

Lily  and Elena where 5 years old while Jeremy was 3. Although Lily and Elena were  sisters, their  Elena seemed to hate Lily and would terrorize her every chance she got. Lily never retaliated.

It was a Saturday afternoon. The twins were sitting in the living room talking. Elena doing most of the talking while Lily listened on as her sister babbled on about her new friends. "Their names  are Caroline and Bonnie... Too bad they are not gonna wanna be friends with you. They will never like a freak like y..." The brown hired girl was cut off as a light bulb exploded above their heads, resulting in both girls to start crying. Elena and Lily seeing their parents immidiately ran towards them. 

Miranda and Grayson shared a look between them. They knew what had happened. Being hunters in the Supernatural world they knew how to differentiate a species. TheyThey saw how Lily grew upset before the light bulb exploded. They had an inkling feeling about Lily was and they did not like it one bit. So when the two girls came running towards them, instead of comforting both girls they turned their attention only to Elena pushing Lily away. Lily was left crying in the living room, no one to comfort her. In that moment Lily Gilbert knew her life at the Gilbert home would never be the same again... Oh how right she was. 

It has been a year since Lily's parents last had an actual conversation with her. The only time they make contact with her is if they give her food. Lily despite her efforts can never get them to talk to her. She wished for her parents to her some attention, talk to her, even if it was just a simple hello. That was until Elena invited her friends over one day for a sleepover.

As it was time for the girls to hit the hay, Lily found her sleeping bag wet. It smelled like lemon. Lily slowly turned around to be met with the sight of Elena and her friends laughing. Tears started to gather in her eyes. The laughing stopped though as soon as the lights went out in the house. 

Miranda and Grayson entered the living room and as soon as they saw Lily, they knew their suspicion was correct, Lily was NOT normal.  

Everything changed from that day forth. Miranda and Grayson finally started to pay attention to Lily but sadly it wasn't the type of attention any child would want or need. Being screamed at became a regular occurrence. She turned into the family maid. Making breakfast, dinner and lunch, cleaning the house, making the beds and so much more. And if everything wasn't perfectly done she would receive a beating and no food and water. 

Elena found it funny and she developed a game called "beat Lily". She roped her friends into the game as well. So each time Elena and her friends were hanging out and she was bored she play the "beat Lily" game. 

(Flashback over)

Third Pov

Lily looked up at the house she grew up in, letting out a shaky breath she walks towards the house she grew up in. She lets out a shaky breath before knocking on the door.  Lily looks up in confusion. She smells death, vampires. But what in the name of Merlin would vampires be doing in her house. The door swings open and Elena Gilbert's face goes from neutral to angry and annoyed quicker than you can say boo.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Was the first thing that came out of Elena's mouth. Elena was furious. She wasn't sure what Lily was doing there but she didn't like it. To Elena Lily always ruined everything when she was around.  

Heads turn to Elena. Looking over to Caroline and Bonnie, Elena gives them a clue to who is at the door. "Wanna play beat Lily?" At those words Jeremy knew who was at the door and before Bonnie and Caroline could get up, he and Matt jumps up rushing towards Lily. Jeremy and Matt hugged Lily tight having missed her. Looking over the shoulder of the two boys Lily introduce herself. 

"Hello those who I don't know. My name is Lily Riddle Potter. The adoptive sister of Elena, nice to meet you." Giving those she doesn't know a sweet smile before turning around and dragging Jeremy and Matt outside.
