Author's Pov:
Yakshit steps out of his car, loosening his tie as one of the security guards holds the door open. At the same time, he phone rings and it was Mr. Jain, his personal assistant. Dismissing the people around, he takes the call, and his expressions change hearing what the other person had to say.
"I already made clear to you that the deal will be signed as per my terms." He snaps harshly, clenching his jaw in frustration.
"Tell them, Yakshit Raichand doesn't make his decisions twice. That's unacceptable." He declares, his tone dripping with superiority, making clear the pride he carried with his title.
Ending the call, he stuffs the phone back in his pocket and makes his way inside Raichand Mansion. His expressions change looking at the person who first comes into his sight. His mother. Deepika greets him with a warm smile.
"How was your day, Baby?" She asks him lovingly and he sulks hearing the endearment.
"Please, Mumma, don't call me that. And my day was fine." He tells her, as she wiggles her eyebrows at his reply.
"Haan, Bhai. Woh toh tumhe tumhari girlfriends hi bula sakti hai. Maa kon hai? Issi din ke liye paida kiya tha tujhe!" Her sad expression with overrated dialogue makes him roll his eyes. He disliked drama, yet he was surrounded by all the overreactors.
(Of course, your girlfriends will only call you that. Who am I? I give birth to you to see this day!)
"But where did this girlfriends come from? I just said I don't like that term." He tries too justify himself, but who was he kidding? His mother pass him a betrayed look, before turning her face away.
"I will see what you like or not. Now, go and freshen up, Ahujas will be here shortly."
She tells him, and without standing there for another minute, she leaves him alone, annoyed and confused. He again missed a chance to ask the reason of this sudden dinner plan. Nevermind, evening was here and things will unfold on their own. Reminding that to himself, he makes way towards his room.
Sometime later, Aujhas arrive and the entire Raichand family gather to welcome them. Kimaayra, accompanied by her parents and grandparents enter the mansion. She looks stunning in the black and green floor length dress. Her elder brother, Ritvik, was absent as he was out of country for business purpose.
Her grandfather beam with delight seeing his bestfriend and same was the scene of the old ladies who were embracing each other. The two families were not just related because of business but their ties were stronger owing to the generational friendship.
Kimaayra greets the elders politely while her eyes search around for her paltan (friends). As if listening to her inner call, Sidhi and Vinayak enters the hall and the three almost squeal looking at each other, making others laugh.
