Chapter 2

Lily's POV

I am leaning on my office chair. My laptop still on with my research on it. I am doing my research while I am working tonight. All of this because of San! I am rolling my eyes. At the same time, I am still thinking about what happened this evening.  Actually, I don't really care about the heir of Theerapanyakul because I am already having my own future and carrier. I am as a neurologist's doctor. Sometimes I have a patient but sometimes not. In this hospital, my area always being the quietest place. 

I am looking at my table and there is my name. Lily Theerapanyakul. Only Lily. Maybe some people would be confusing. How can Khun Kinn and Khun Porsche can have a daughter? Actually, I am just a foster-child. When I am still a baby, my mom, that I don't who is she, leave me in front of Theerapanyakul major family's mansion. My Pa, who is Khun Kinn, doesn't want me since that time Theerapanyakul family have a big problem. At the same time, that is a week after Khun Kann die. But Khun Korn suggests Pa and Pho to adopt me since this family will not have any heir in the future. Khun Tankhun, he doesn't want to get married. Khun Kim, he already leaves the house after the incident that killed Khun Kann. So, I am the only one heir for major family. 

Since I am still kid, I am never getting love from Pa. He never cares about me. Pho, he just cares about me when I am in danger. The people who are really love me only Khun Tankhun, Lung Pol and Lung Arm. They really care about me. I can't be hurt even a bit. 

I take a deep breath and sipping my coffee. Suddenly someone knocks my door. 

"Come in...". A woman who is wearing nurse uniform come in. That is P'Pim. I am smiling a bit.

"Dr Lily khaa... Are you busy?", she smiles at the door. She is always smile. 

"Nope, I am free right now. Is there anything, P'Pim khaa?"

"Dr Lily khaa, here is a practical doctor that senior asks you to guide". She opens the door wider. I am just nods. 

"You can go inside kha", she please the doctor come into my office. A young man who is wearing a white lab coat. He is wearing a glass. He is smiling once he sees me. 

"I will leave naa khaa, Dr Lily", P'Pim leaving and closes the door.

"You can sit", I am pointing the chair in front of my desk. He sits. 

"So, what's your name?", I tried to talk with him. I am focused on my laptop. Checking if there any email from my Senior Doctor about this practical doctor. There's no email. 

"My name is Beam khrap. I am student of doctoral faculty. Please guide me naa khrap", he smiles while looking at me. I just nod and looking at him.

"Do you know where your room is?", asking him again. He just shakes his head. Pointing the room beside my office. That's a glass room. 

"That's your room. If anything, just come and ask me". I am focusing on my laptop. After a few second, I still can see him there. Not moving. I raised my eyebrows.

"Is there anything else?". He smiles and shake his head. He gets up from his seat and walk to that room. 

After a few hours, I am stretching my body a bit. I am looking at my watch. It's already 11pm. It's already 2 hours I am doing my research. I am look at the room that placed that practical boy. I don't know what he is doing right now. I just let him there as long as he didn't disturb me. Suddenly my office door is open. A young man shows up there. He is wearing a black sunglass and quite luxury outfit.

"Hello! My beloved cousin!". He is spinning himself in front of me. I am showing my disgusting face. I immediately throwing my pen to him. 

"Oi fuck! Can't you just be nice to me? I am visiting you now", he sits in front of me. 

"Who the fuck wearing sunglass at the night? Are you blind or what?"

"Oho Ai Lily! If I am not wearing this, my dad's bodyguard might see me". He takes off his sunglass. At the same time, he looks at the room next to me. 

"Lily, who's that? He looks so handsome", he is whisper to me. I look at the room. I look at him again. 

"Ai Venice, please don't disturb him. He is my practical student"

"Really? What's his name?", Venice's eyes so shining. 

"Fuck! Can you just leave him? Last year you made a same thing to my practical student. At the end, he never listens to me. I even need to reduce his mark a bit because of that. Don't you dare to mess with him". I warn Venice. 

"Aow! It's not my fault. He falls in love with me. I have just spoiled him". I am rolling my eyes. 

"What are you doing now?". He tries to sneak on my laptop. 

"My research", I am answer while keep typing on my laptop. 

"About what?"

"About a twin that might have a sync behavior". He nods.

"Don't you think that we are like a twin?". I immediately looking at him. I take a sticky note that I crumpled and throw it to him. 

"What?! I just said the truth"

"How can it's true?". My voice so resentful. 

"Our birthday is on same day, and we always have a same idea". I raised my eyebrows. 

"Our birthday is on a same date because Pho found me on the same day you were born in hospital. Even my umbilical cord still there when I have been found, doesn't mean I was born in same day as you. I might be born first or late before you. To make it easy, Pho and Lung Pete decide to give us a same birthday. And we never have a same idea!". I take a deep breath after a long explanation. 

"Ohoo...your saliva is splashing all over my face!", he wipes his face. 

"You deserve it!"

"Come on, I am just joking", he chuckles a bit.

"I will never want to be your twin. I don't want to have a spoiled and lazy twin"

"Auch! Your words so deep. Lily, I have my reason why I am being like this. Right now, all of mafias know that I am an heir of minor family. I need to be careful". I am just shaking my head slowly. 

"Then why are you here? You can't be show up right?". He is leaning his body on chair and pouting a bit. 

"I am bored. Pa Vegas is so firm since Khun Gus known me". I raised my eyebrows.

"Khun Gus? He already met you?". He just nod. Suddenly he straightens his body and move closer to me. 

"Lily, do you know where the nearest pub here?", he whispers and smile. My eyes getting bigger.

"Shia! Venice! What if Lung Vegas know that you go there? You will die, you know?", my voice so resentful. How can this guy be being my cousin? 

"Ao naaa.... if you don't want, give me him", he is pointing his finger to Beam. Beam realized that Venice looking at him. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. 

"Okay fine! 15 meters from here". My forehead is wrinkles. 

"Okay, thank you naaa Lily jaaa~~~", he gets up and walk out from my office. I massage my head. Suddenly my office door opens again, and Venice show up again. 

"Oh, don't tell my parent naa.... bye!", he closes the door again. 

"Shia! I wanna die!". I am mumbling slowly.
