The airport is big and full of bright lights.
A lot of people are there. Hanni feels that she is so miserable. She wants to find a hole to bury herself. She wants to stop her tears and pretend like nothing is going on. She doesn't expect this.
That woman is so beautiful and her words are gentle. She is an excellent woman. She should be a helpful one for Minji's life and feelings. She is not like Hanni, who is always headstrong and rebellious. She has always been Minji's burden and brings troubles for Minji. Since the beginning, she has just been a particular surplus in Minji's life. She has no use. Minji needs extra energy to take care of her even during Minji's busy day.
Looking at how Hanni tries hard to control her tears, Minji remembers the day they met. That time, Hanni was behaving unscrupulously and crying loudly. Hanni had no worries. Hanni's biggest trouble was the teacher's request to call for Hanni's family members. Is it really because she is growing up? Or perhaps her words are too harsh?
Minji purses her lips, she doesn't bring any tissue, so she uses her coat to wipe Hanni's tears. "Don't cry. Unnie doesn't feel it is troublesome. It is cold here, wear the coat well."
Hanni just follows Minji's words.
"It's good that you could figure things out. It's good that you know your mistake," Minji says slowly. "Everyone is not angry with you, we are just worried that you will have a problem. So we are really worried. Okay?"
Hanni lowers her head and chokes with sobs. "I know."
"Stand up, go wash your face." Minji looks at her phone. She looks like she is unwell. She coughs and continues, "Unnie will take you to have lunch first."
Hanni shakes her head lightly, "I am not hungry."
"What do you mean you are not hungry?" Minji stands up and says faintly, "For a person, you plan to go on hunger strike?"
"Little kid," Minji points at the toilet symbol. "The toilet is there, can you see it?"
Hanni pauses for a few seconds and nods.
"Go by yourself and wash your face." Minji thinks about something. "Give me your identity card. Unnie will help you to ask for a ticket. Later on, I'll find you again. Don't run anywhere else."
Looking at this, the woman beside Minji says, "Let me take her there."
Hanni takes out her identity card from her bag and gives it to Minji. She stands up and looks at that woman.
In a second, Minji says, "No need."
Hanni just goes to the toilet by herself. After a few steps, she suddenly stops and looks back at them. She watches those two people standing there.
That woman is wearing a black dress. She has a great body. She is quite a tall woman, and she is wearing high heels too. She is shorter by a head than Minji. She is saying something to Minji. She smiles and pats Minji's arm.
Hanni straightens her lips and looks forward again. She gets into the toilet and sees herself in the mirror. Her eyes are red and swollen. Her nose is red. She has tear marks on her face. She lowers her head and washes her face repeatedly. The cold water once more stimulates her tears. She couldn't clean her tears.
After a while, Hanni forces herself to calm down. She notices the coat on her body. She takes it off and holds it. Minji has waited for her outside. This time it's only Minji. The woman is gone.
Minji frowns when she notices her coat is in Hanni's hold. "Why are you taking this off?"
"I washed my face and was afraid that I'd make this dirty." Hanni lies. "I also don't feel cold." She looks at Minji. "You just wear it."
