One day, Sherlock was lounging in his armchair, sipping on a glass of fine aged port. Watson was nearby, wringing his hands nervously as he awaited the arrival of his good friend, Gabriel John Utterson.

"What's wrong, Watson? You seem nervous." Sherlock stated.

"Oh, it is just that I have not seen Utterson in a while, and our shared friend Dr. Jekyll has been ill lately. I have no doubt that is what he has come to see you about, Sherlock." Replied Watson.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Marie the Housekeeper went to the door and opened it. On the doorstep stood Mr. Utterson, carrying with him several papers in his hand.

"Oh, do come in!" Yelled Sherlock, sipping his glass of port joyfully.

Utterson stepped into the room and sat on the lounger, next to Watson.

"What brings you here, good sir?" asked Sherlock inquisitively.

"I am here about mine and Watson's good friend Dr. Henry Jekyll. You see, he has not been very well. He is always locked up in his laboratory or at home, and he never comes out to see me at all." Utterson explained as he sipped a steaming cup of tea that Marie had just made him.

Sherlock nodded as Utterson spoke, and he sipped his port as he went through all the details in his head.

"Hmm. I see. When was the last time you saw Henry Jekyll?" Sherlock asked.

"Around a month ago, good sir." Replied Utterson.

"Alright then. He is a doctor, you say?" Sherlock stipulated.

"Yes, he is.." Utterson stated.

"Very well, then." Sherlock said, getting up suddenly to refill his glass.

"There is one snag, sir." stated Utterson.

"Hmm? What is that snag, pray tell?" asked Sherlock.

"I have seen this other man going in and out of Jekyll's mansion, and on many occasions, I have spoken to Poole, Jekyll's butler. Poole has often told me that he has no connection to the strange man and that all he knew about him was that his name was Mr. Edward Hyde." Utterson answered, tapping his feet nervously
