That night, Sherlock and Watson were wandering the streets of Soho, looking for the man that Utterson had mentioned. Watson was beginning to grow tired and weary and would soon separate from Sherlock and retire back to his home.

Sherlock continued without Watson, and as Sherlock was walking down the cobbled alley of Cavendish Square, he found the deformed man that Utterson had told him about. Sherlock approached the man and tapped him on the shoulder.

The man hissed and turned around; his red eyes glowing bright as they darted to and fro.

"Excuse me, are you Mr. Edward Hyde?" Inquired Sherlock.

"Depends. Who is asking?" Hyde growled, showing his sharp, decaying teeth as he spoke.

"Oh, forgive me for not introducing myself. I am detective Sherlock Homes, at your service." Answered Sherlock.

"Holmes? That is a name I have not heard in an exceptionally long time." Hyde said, a hint of surprise in his voice

"Come to my apartment and we shall discuss your relation to Dr. Jekyll." Articulated Sherlock

"Perhaps. Tomorrow, Jekyll could come to your dwelling and discuss with you as well, hmm?" Hyde proposed.

"Yes, that might be best. But I would still like to hear from you, good sir." Answered Sherlock.

"Harumph." Hyde grunted.

And with that, Sherlock and Hyde began walking back to Baker Street, where the two men would talk politics and about Hyde's past and how he is connected to both Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Utterson.
