Chapter 1 Introductions

It was warmer this morning than it had been for the past few weeks, was that a sign? Probably not, better not to look into things to much.

Besides, today was way to important for you to mess it up by overcalculating everything and then blowing shit up. Remember your training and it will all work out.

The nerves about starting a new school wern't getting to you as much as you assumed they would. You were however worried that your new classmates would blame you for the loss of their former classmate.

You were still surprised about the reason you were offered a place at UA this year. It was due to a kid you had been told was named Mineta. He was in class A of the UA hero course, but was banished from the school over the break, due to what the higher ups discribed as "lack of compitance needed to become a hero", whatever that means.

When he then left the school, you were offered his place instead, because you scored 21st in the entrance exam the year prior and had decided to attend Shiketsu highschool, instead of joining the B class.

But now that spot was finaly yours. Yes of course Shiketsu was a good school, but it could never even compare to the education you would get from UA, all the top heros had graduated from UA, and you were sure as hell going to be one of them.

You knew all your stuff had already been transferred to your new dorm room, but you could worry about unpacking that after class. Right now however, you were standing at the school gates, only envisioning what this fresh start would bring you.

Your train of thought was quickly interupted by a tall man charging straight at you.

"EVEN WITH ALL YOUR NEW QUIRKS YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR MY SPEED MIDORYA" the tall man yells at his smaller greenhaired friend running a few steps behind him.

"NO FAIR, YOU HAD A HEADSTART" the boy, who you assume is named Midorya, screams back at his friend.

The taller man is observant and runs straight past you. The greenhaired boy however, not so much. The last thing you see is a small explotion forming beside you as the boy crashes straight into you with high impact.

"OMG, OMG, Iida, i've killed her. I ran into her really hard and now i've killed her. I think the impact even caused an explotion somehow, what do I do?????" Midorya says in a panic.

"Well tecnically i'm to blame for the explotion" you say slowly opening your eyes as you are regaining consiousnes.

"Oh thank god you aren't dead. Are you alright? Were are you hurt? Do you need medical assistance? Can I help in any way? I am so so sorry." The boy's words come out so fast its hard to make sense of what he is actually trying to say.

Your eyes are now finaly fully open again so you can properly look at the boy. He looks absolutly terrified, terrified that he has caused damage to another person no doubt. You change back into your normal nutural expression.

"I'm alright, just a scratch here and there, nothing i'm not already used to." You say reassuringly.

At this point Midorya's friend from earlier was now also standing over you, his thick glasses reflecting sun into your eyes causing to to squint slightly.

"I would also like to apoligise for our behaviour, running like that was very reckless of us and I should have thought it more through before suggesting we race to school." He says in his most sincere voice.

You are a bit taken back by the apology, as you didn't really see anything wrong with two boys running, one of them just needs more awareness of his surrondings.

"I promise it's ok, i'm really just glad i didn't accidentaly hurt any of you with my explotion earlier" You say.

The boys look back at the burnt spot on the ground behind them, as if they had forgotten about the explotion in only a few seconds.

"Right, you said you created the explotion earlier, is that your quirk? Making explotions?" The boy quriously ask, as they both help you up from the ground.

"Well yes tecnically, though it is a bit more complex than just 'making explotions' as you say. You starteled me earlier, which is what caused it to accidentaly go off when it wasn't supposed to. Im very glad to see I didn't hit you." You tell him sincerly.

"Oh don't worry about that, even if you had hit me, i'm used to it, my friend Kacchan also has an explocive quirk, and he sure does like to use it on me." Midorya says with a nervous laughter.

"Doesn't really sound like a great friend then if you ask me" You say.

"NO NO NO, he is really, I don't mind, we are training to be heros and it's really important to him to be best and it's all just part if the training." He says, again adding a nervous laught.

Despite his reassurance, it does seem like he minds, but you aren't going to push that right now, you don't know him, and it is certainly not your place to be asking about it.

"Right sorry, where are our manners, I am Tenya Iida," the tall one suddenly says, "And this is my friend Izuku Midorya. You were looking a bit lost when Izuku ran into you earlier, is there anything we can help you with? Its the least we can do after everything." Iida says.

"Nice to meet you both, my name is y/n y/l/n, and there is actually a thing you could help me with, you see i have no idea where my classroom is." You were planning on just asking the reseptionist, but seeing as they were offering, it couldn't hurt asking them for directions. They seemed like nice people, even after having knocked you out.

"Of course, we are more than happy to help you find the way, what class are you in?" Izuku says eagarly.

"Class 2A, do you know where that class is?" You ask them.

Both of the boys give you a puzzeled look, like they had maybe missheard you.

"Sorry, did you say class 2A are you sure you don't mean class 1A?" Iida asked you, thinking you may still have been confused from your fall earlier.

You look at them for a few seconds, confused as to why their demeanour had suddenly changed, before answering "Nope, pretty sure I know what class I am in. You know what, I can just ask in the reseption like I was planning on, you probably have a class to go to as well."

As you turn to walk into the school building Izuku grabs your hand "No no, that wont be necessary, we will follow you. You see the reason we got confused is because we are in class 2A, and wern't aware a new person would be joining us this year." He quickly explains.

"Yes, it is odd, I thought our class was at maximum capacity with 20 students, but I guess the system has been changed. It will be a fun turn of events to have an oddly numbered class." Iida says.

Shit, no one has broken the news to them yet about their former classmate Mineta. And you sure as hell were not about to. You decided their teacher could be responsible for sharing the news once you all got to class. You just smiled and nodded at their comments to not waste more time.

At that point the two boys also realize that they were running low on time and quickly lead you into school.
