01. 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚𝙨

Ellie Clarkson woke up and groaned as she heard the sound of her parents arguing and sighed. She knew how her parents were and she knew that they were arguing a lot lately and she hated it. Ellie knew that her parents loved her and she knew that she loved them but she knew that they were arguing more and more lately and she knew that she couldn't help but worry over things and that her parents were going to split up

Ellie got out of bed and got ready for school as she walked down into the kitchen. She walked in and frowned as she felt the tension hit her and frowned "what is going on?" Ellie asked as she glanced around the room

"Nothing. You need to fix your skirt" Tom said as he looked to Ellie

"Don't take it out on her because your in a bad mood with me" Aimee said

"I'm not. I don't want her to spend anymore time in the cooler do you. Or do you want your mother to have a go do us over our parenting" Tom said

"Can you two not, my head is messed up and I can't listen to you two argue anymore" Ellie said. She knew that her head was a mess and she knew that she had a bad head over it all

"I'm going to jerk I'll see you there Ellie and be good and sort out your skirt" Tom said as Ellie looked to him and sighed as she slid her skirt down as Tom walked out of the room

Ellie looked to Aimee and sighed as the two of them held a look "hey don't worry it will be okay" Aimee said as she pulled Ellie into a hug and smiled. Ellie knew that she couldn't help but worry that her family was going to fall apart

Ellie got to school as she met up with Lauren "are you okay" Lauren asked

"I don't know they're arguing again I hate it. But they're my parents and I love them and I do want for things to be okay you know it's just I have a bad feeling over things and I can't help but feel as if maybe they would be better off apart. I just don't know" Ellie said

"Parents huh. Who would have them" Lauren asked as Ellie smiled

"Tell me about it. My mum is hardly home. She's always out and my dad is there and we're cope I've always been a daddy's girl with him and I love him it's just so hard. I don't want to end up picking sides" Ellie said as Lauren looked to her and smiled

"I know it's not easy but I am your best friend and I am here for you no matter what happened with your parents" Lauren said as they looked to see Rachel as she walked past

"Eloise. Do we need to have another conversation over your uniform" Rachel said

"Not at all" Ellie said as she fixed her tie and pulled idea her skirt as Rachel walked off

"She's always on your back and she's meant to be your gran" Lauren said as Ellie looked to her and nodded

"Oh trust me I know it." Ellie said as the bell went and she sighed as she knew how she had class to get too. She knew how none of it was easy

Ellie sat in class. She knew that she wasn't really paying attention as Simon stood up front. The bell soon approached

"Ellie. A word" Simon said as Ellie cursed to herself. She knew how she was not in the mood for any of this

"Sir" she said as the class emptied as he walked over to her and smiled

"Are you okay. You don't seem yourself I know how things are with your parents and how it's not easy but I want you to know that none of it is your fault and your parents love you. I am here for you" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"You don't need to be there for me sir. I am not your problem" she said as he looked to her

"You are not a problem Ellie. You're a pupil of mine and I do care about you okay. I want you to know that" he said as he placed his hand in her arm as he glanced to her for a moment as the two of them held a look

"Thank you sir. That means a lot it really does" she said as she walked off. He looked after her and sighed. He knew how he couldn't help but worry over Ellie and what was going on with her

Ellie got home and looked to see Aimee as she stood in the kitchen and smiled "hey how was school today?" She asked as Ellie looked to her and smiled

"It was fine. Are you and dad going to split up. I know how bad that things are between us" she asked as Aimee looked to her and smiled

"Your dad and I are having our Issues and I won't lie to you over it. But I promise you that nothing matters to me more to me is you, us our family will all be okay I promise" Aimee said as Ellie smiled

Aimee knew how things were with her and Tom and she knew how she and Tom had fallen out of love and how it wasn't easy and she knew that the last thing she wanted was for Ellie to suffer because of it all

Aimee knew how she had been getting closer to max and she knew that she shouldn't be and how wrong that it was.

Ellie looked to Aimee and smiled

"It's all going to be okay isn't it mum?" Ellie asked as Aimee looked to her and smiled

"Of course it is I promise" Aimee said as Ellie smiled

Ellie had no idea how she'd soon find herself feeling caught between her parents as her family was torn apart
