Chapter 5
Glory Morning:
When you have 4 chaotic friends
I hung up from talking with Tsunami when Kinkajou walked in. I swear that girl has the power to sense emotions because she just walked up to me and gave me a hug. She was lucky I was actually distressed, because I absolutely HATE physical attention/touch. I gave in and melted into the hug. "Are you okay?" She asked. "Not really." I spoke. I absolutely hated the way I sounded, fragile. "Well, I'm right here if you need me." She told me. "Thanks Kink." I said, genuinely grateful for her concern. I sighed. "I need to go. I'm meeting up with Tsu and the others at Outclaw Cafe." "Oh," Kinkajou started. "Well, I'm meeting Turtle, Anemone, and Tamarin there. Could you maybe... I don't know, drop me off?" I smirked at her and said," Get a helmet." She beamed at me then ran up, I don't know, 6 flights of stairs? (Yes, I know. Mansions are big.) And then she ran down them. She looked up and smiled at me, winded. "I got it." She wheezed. I grabbed her wrist, forgetting about my worries for the moment, and grinned like a mad man. We ran down the remaining flights of stairs into the garage. I headed to my motorcycle, Kinkajou, only one step behind me. I jumped on and revved it up. I held my hand out to Kink, so I could pull her up. I kicked the kickstand up and smirked as Kinkajou quickly rapped her arms around my waist. She shrieked as I started going, probably faster than I should've. As I weaved through traffic, I spotted Moon and Qibli skateboarding with a sort of terrified but amused expression. I pulled over and asked what was up and they just gave me a look and Moon looked over at me and said," You'll find out soon enough, but it sure wasn't Deathbringer." She and Qibli started to laugh, and they skated off. Me and Kink shared confused looks and started driving again.

We finally made it and surprisingly, Starflight showed up first. He and Sunny were laughing so hard about something that Sunny was crying and Starflight was wheezing and crying at the same time. Kinkajou gave me a look, handed me her helmet and said," You're on your own." Then ran off to her friends. I chuckled and put her helmet into the pocket under the seat. I didn't have a helmet, so I walked over to the group, my hair swinging behind me in a ponytail. "So... What's going on here?" I asked, sliding next to them. "Starflight *WHEEZE* He *Laugh* He-" She then started to cackle again. I just rolled my eyes at them, pulled out my phone, and took a picture. We (we being Tsunami, Clay, and me) had a group chat without Sunny and Starflight because we knew they had crushes on each other and we ship them, so we created a chat to post stupid/cute things we saw them doing. Ofc, I decided to add the picture and titled it, 'Don't know what's happening but it's adorable.'
*Clay's POV*
Waking up is hard. Having a breakfast plan the first thing you see is even worse. I groaned as I sat up and looked at my phone. Tsunami asked to meet us at the Cafe. Great. WHY THIS EARLY??? I thought. I got up and did the basic routine for my mornings.
Get up
Go to the bathroom
Take a shower
Brush my teeth
Brush my hair
Get dressed
Get my bag
Put on shoes
Write a note to my sibs
Walk out the door
It didn't take long to go through the list and soon I was jogging over to the Cafe in a muscle top and shorts. My brown hair was blowing in the breeze because of my aunts' ruffling. As I was about to turn the corner to the block of the Cafe, my phone pinged. I got it out and saw the picture of my favorite OTP. Sunny and Starflight, or Sunnyflight as we like to call them. They were laughing about something. I looked at what Glory put underneath it, 'Don't know what's happening but it's adorable.' I chuckled at the thought of being in Glory's place. 'Almost there to see it!' I texted. I started to run again and saw the table that my friends were at." Hey guys!" I greeted them, as I slid to sit beside Sunny." So," I spread my hands out." What's been happening?" Glory's features tightened for a millisecond, so fast that I barely noticed. I took out my phone and went to Glory and I's private messages. 'Are you okay?' I saw her glance down as her phone pinged and the corners of her mouth turned down ever so slightly. 'I don't really know rn.' She responded. 'I'm just worried.' I saw her eyes soften and fill with uncertainty. 'You can talk to me anytime, you know.' I caught her eye and gave her a smile. She gave a weak one in return. While this was happening, Sunny and Starflight were STILL laughing up a storm. "You know you can die from laughing." Glory said in a conversational tone. Sunny automatically pushed the rest of her giggles down. Starflight covered his mouth with his hands and tried to stop laughing. Fortunately, he was able to. Right when I was about to ask what that was about, Tsunami walked up to us. "Bet you were wondering when the party would show. Well, here it is!"
