"If you want to get drafted next year you gotta get your ass up and run!"
I felt my lungs burning I basically couldn't breathe at all.
This was supposed to be my one day off from basketball in the whole year but it became the most basketball I've played my whole life.
10 hours
That's how long I've been awake
It's 10 am
I've been running for 3 of those hours
I've been Shooting a basketball for 4 hours
I've been dribbling for 4 hours
I've been yelled at for 21 years

I would have never guessed Jackie Young could sing, but here she is singing Baby by good old Justin while I ate my wonderful chicken nuggets quietly. Georgia sat right next to me she was eating or inhaling nachos.
Jackie finished singing and walked away from the karaoke machine she went to sit right in front of me.
"Dang yall are really the embodiment of a rookie, Georgia is eating like a kid and you have a kids meal." Jackie laughed as she sat down.
"Aye have you ever had bad chicken nuggets?"
Jackie thought for a moment before she shook her head at my question. I nodded and smiled eating another chicken nugget.
"Exactly, it's consistent and delicious." I spoke holding up a chicken nugget.
"Georgia, we should sing a song, us shorties gotta stick together." Kelsey yelled from across the table as Georgia looked up and ran over to the karaoke machine even though a bit of nacho cheese was still on her face.
From the corner of my eye I saw Bella laughing at Georgia as she walked over to our table and took a seat next to me her lavender sent following her.
I watched her as she sat down her smile and laugh was addicting I have to admit.
Saying I could look at her smile and hear her laugh all day would be an understatement.
Dang I gotta lock in I'm here to play basketball
"I really think that girl makes up her height in energy and confidence." Bella said as I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Jackie smiling at me a bit with a teasing look.
"Dang I forgot yall are like the most quiet people in the world." Bella laughed as the now kinda awkward but comfortable silence was broken by the start of sweet Caroline.

Everyone looked over to the karaoke machine and stage as Georgia got ready to sing with Kelsey and we all clapped along.
"Let's see if the rookie can sing!" A'ja said as everyone laughed and waited for the song to start.
I don't know if Georgia can sing but when we got coffee earlier this morning she was trying to imitate the sound of a trumpet for some reason and that was pretty good I guess but I only herd it a little bit. I put on my headphones immediately because everyone was looking at us in the coffee shop and if I look like I didn't know her they wouldn't look at me.
