Scene shifts to reveal Henry, Kelsey's father, sitting in an unfurnished basement filled with various crates. As the news continues to play on the TV, the details surrounding the second murder victims emerge. Henry's expression grows increasingly serious as he listens intently, it becomes clear that he is not just an ordinary father watching the news, he is a werewolf hunter.
The scene shifts to the next morning, at the school. Students hurry to their classes when the focus turns to Parker, standing in front of his locker. He appears lost in thought, still affected by the recent events, and the memory of the creature he encountered the night before is still fresh in his mind.
The scene transitions to a conversation between Leeson and Harry.
Leeson, with a hint of vulnerability in his voice, responds.
Leeson: Yeah, I guess I am. I need your help.
Harry, intrigued by Leeson's request, responds.
Harry: So, you're looking for anyone in the town that fits the pattern, right?Leeson, appreciating Harry's readiness to help, confirms.
Leeson: Yeah, that's correct.
Harry, trying to gather more information, asks about the creature's name.
Harry: So, it's called the Nightwalker, huh?Leeson, observant as ever, notices Parker's state and motions for Harry to follow him. They approach Parker, who is still lost in thought.
Leeson, addressing Parker, begins speaking.
Leeson: Hey, Parker, are you okay?
Parker: rough nightLeeson, trying to get insight, asks about Parker's encounter.
Leeson: What did you actually see?
Parker, sounding shaken, responds.
Parker: I saw a big ass bear, but its movements were strange, kind of like... a wolf.Leeson, increasingly concerned, demands more information.
Leeson: Where?
Parker, reluctant to disclose the location, responds evasively.
Parker: It's nothing, man.
Leeson, determined to get answers, grabs Parker by the shoulders and pins him against the locker.
Leeson: Now, where. Did. You. See. It?Parker, reluctantly but truthfully, reveals the location of his encounter.
Parker: Near the parking lot, it was big, black and had red eyes. That's all I saw, I swear.
Leeson, feeling he's gotten the information he needs, releases Parker, who leaves the area hastily. Leeson stands there, contemplating the newfound information.Harry, puzzled, tries to make sense of the situation.
Harry: Why would this thing even be here at the school?
Leeson, trying to figure out the creature's intentions, responds.
Leeson: It wouldn't come here unless it was searching for someone.
Harry, a realization dawns on him.
Harry: It's searching for you.
Leeson, taken aback, reflects on Josh's earlier words.
Leeson: (thinking) "He wants you in his pack for whatever reason"Harry, concerned, points out the imminent full moon.
Harry: That's not good, and tonight's a full moon!
Leeson, alarmed, responds with a sense of urgency.
Leeson: I know! What should I do?Harry thinks for a moment, then has an idea.
Harry: You need to get out of here, somewhere safe.
Leeson, anxious, responds.
Leeson: Where? Where can I go?The coach's voice suddenly booms from behind them.
Coach: Woods! Get your ass on the field! We have a game tonight!
Leeson, caught off guard, responds enthusiastically.
Leeson: Sure thing, Coach.
Leeson turns back to Harry, concerned etched on his face.
Leeson: I can't play! What if they see me transform?
Harry, thinking quickly, provides a suggestion.
Harry: Sounds like you need to talk to Josh.Leeson, hurrying through the forest, reaches Josh's cabin and calls out.
Leeson: Josh! Hello?! I need help!
There's no response. Suddenly, Leeson hears a branch snap as if a footstep is heard. It's Henry, Kelsey's father, appearing in the woods with a rifle, likely loaded with silver bullets, capable of harming werewolves.
Henry, with a stern tone, questions Leeson.
Henry: What are you doing out here?
