After what felt like an eternity, Vijay felt the warmth of Kaveri's tears soaking into his shirt at the shoulder. His heart skipped a beat as panic set in. Gently, he cupped her face in his hands, lifting it up to meet his worried gaze. "Enna Aachu, Kaveri?" he asked softly, his voice trembling with concern. Seeing her tears brought an ache to his heart, and his fingers brushed away the droplets tenderly.

Kaveri blinked up at him, her eyes reflecting the turmoil within. She shook her head slightly, a weak attempt at reassurance, and buried her face into his shoulder again, her arms wrapping tightly around his waist. Vijay's anxiety only deepened, but he knew he had to give her space to process whatever was weighing on her heart.

Minutes passed in silence, save for the sound of Kaveri's quiet sobs gradually dying down. Eventually, she lifted her head, her chin resting on his shoulder as she looked at him with tear-stained cheeks. Vijay reached up and gently wiped away the remnants of her tears, his thumb brushing her soft skin with all the tenderness he could muster.

"Enna da?" he whispered, his voice laced with worry and love.

Kaveri sniffled, her eyes glistening as she gazed at him. "I love you, Vijay" she whispered, her voice cracking with emotion.

The words hit him like a bolt of lightning, electrifying him to the core. He had heard her say those words before, but only when she was under the influence of alcohol. This time, it was different-it was real, heartfelt, and vulnerable. Vijay's eyes locked onto hers, searching for any trace of doubt, but all he saw was pure, unadulterated love.

Time seemed to stand still as they gazed at each other, their hearts beating in sync. His mind whirled with a thousand unspoken emotions, a thousand questions, but he couldn't find the words. He didn't want to break this precious moment.

Their silent exchange was abruptly interrupted by Narmadha's voice, calling out to Kaveri from a distance. "Akka Mama Anga enna pandringa, Inga vaanga velaiyadalam!"

Kaveri glanced at Vijay, the corners of her lips curving into a small smile as she saw the stunned expression on his face. She could see the effect her words had on him, and to break him out of his reverie, she reached up and playfully pinched his cheek. Before he could fully register what had happened, she slipped out of his embrace, her laughter trailing behind her as she ran toward Narmadha.

Vijay blinked, finally coming back to reality. He watched as Kaveri sprinted away, her smile teasing and her eyes sparkling with mischief. She turned around for a moment, her laughter echoing in the air as she gestured for him to join them.

With a grin tugging at his lips, Vijay pushed himself up and chased after her, his heart lighter than it had been in a long time. He reached the shore just as the others were splashing water at each other, their laughter filling the air with a joyful melody. Yamuna, Narmadha, Ganga, and her husband Kumaran-all of them were playing like children, the worries of the world forgotten for the moment.

Kaveri was in the midst of them, her laughter mingling with the waves as she splashed water at Narmadha. Vijay's heart swelled with love as he watched her, her happiness contagious. Deciding he couldn't let her have all the fun, he jumped into the water, joining the group with a playful roar.

"Kaveriiiiiii!" he called out, his eyes locked on her. "Ipo paapa intha Vijay yaaru-nu!"

She turned to face him, her smile widening as she saw the playful glint in his eyes. "Oh, apdiyaa, Vaanga vaanga athaiyum paakalam?" she challenged, her voice filled with mock seriousness. She quickly moved behind Yamuna, using her as a shield as Vijay advanced.

"Hey! Mamaaaaa En mela yen thanni adikireengaa, Unga romance-ku naan thaan oorga vaa?" Yamuna complained, laughing as she tried to dodge Vijay's splashes. Kaveri peeked out from behind her, sticking her tongue out at Vijay.
