Zombies

The cemetery was a little scary to walk into at night, especially in dark rain at this moment due to the sloshy grasses forming mud.

"It's too quiet here," Ladybug said.

Rain droplets in Claw Noir's green hair droop down but he didn't care, "To quiet is never good. If she really did make a bargain with the devil, likely, she is likely back in flesh and blood. Dead souls can't cross the living realm unless permitted by the gods of death can"

"Yes, but someone who commits suicide they are sent to hell, God's law," Ladybug said.

Thunder flashed and the vampire couldn't smell any scent with rain washing it off, "I can't smell anything. Just water and mud. If those assholes are lying, their necks are so mine to bite on"

"Relax Kitty," Ladybug said.

"I know a liar when they make things up to save themselves cowardly, milady" Claw Noir walking past the gravestones.

"Right. For safety's sake, LUCKY CHARM!" Ladybug summons her charm, "A jelly brain?" She got confused.

"Whenever a zombie sees one, they see one. But a fake one, I'm not so sure about that. Zombies are mindless" Claw Noir said until a hand punched through the ground and grabbed his ankle, "AGH!!" He looks down seeing a decayed face pop out.

"Kitty!" Ladybug kicks the zombie.

More zombies emerged out of the ground, nearly decaying for who knows how long with maggots earring from the inside of dead bodies.

"Brace yourself, Milady!" Claw Noir unsheathes his namesake.

"Don't let them scratch or bite!" Ladybug swung her yo-yo.

"I do both but much deadlier than them!" Claw Noir breaks their neck before going to the next.

Ladybug then threw the jelly brain to distract some zombies after figuring out what to do with it. Another tried to bite Claw Noir but he broke their neck to kill it. He even punched through another one. Growling in frustration before taking out his staff with cat claws on each end to stab them all like iron stakes. He then splits it into two batons in a more effective way. Not a single blood drop since they dry out for months when buried.

"There are too many!" Ladybug then used a torch she ignited.

"They've been dead for too long! We won't find a fresh dead brain from either of them!" Claw Noir said before slicing a partially fleshed skeleton zombie aside.

"Fly us out of here!" Ladybug shrieked.

Claw Noir then morphs into an eagle and grabs her. But not before he snatched a dead zombie's head.

"We can't let these zombies on the loose! We gotta find the source of it!" Ladybug said while holding onto the talons.

"Right away!" Eagle Noir looks around.

They flew over the graveyard to find the source. Eagle Noir saw someone moving in the mausoleum and his eyes could detect it was definitely Lila using some kind of evil dark magic of the source to control reanimated corpses.

"Over there!" He flew with Ladybug.

Ladybug swung off and kicked Lila down, "Lila Rossi!" She said with hatred.

Claw morphed back and gasped at how she was really alive when he smelled blood and flesh, "You!"

"Surprised?" Lila grinned.

"You sent Blanc to kill me for you? Even in death, you can't let it go!" Claw Noir said, hearing the zombies from the distance coming.

"Of course, in return, I'll be permanently alive!" Lila said.
