During the lecture, Tanya suddenly felt a soft breath on the back of her neck, sending a shiver down her spine. Her heartbeat quickened, and she could sense Yuvraj leaning in close behind her. He whispered, pointing to his eraser that had fallen on the floor, "Uthake do na?"
Irritated, Tanya glared at him for interrupting her focus. Still, she bent down, picked up the eraser, and handed it back to him. As Yuvraj took it, his fingers intentionally brushed against her hand. Startled, she immediately pulled her hand away, glaring at him again.
Yuvraj smirked, clearly amused by her reaction. From beside him, Abeer whispered, "Bro, maar khana chahta hai kya? Kya kar raha hai? Teri flirting skills yahan kaam nahi karengi, and especially not with Tanya. She's your old frenemy—she knows you too well."
Yuvraj chuckled, undeterred by Abeer's warning. "Wahi toh accha hai," he replied, glancing at Tanya. "Ye mujhe itne acche se janti hai, isliye mai unpredictable cheezein kar raha hu. Dekhte hain kaise handle karti hai."
Adi and Aryaman, sitting behind them, overheard the conversation and started teasing Yuvraj. "Bhai, tension mat le, bas ek din hai. Phir dekh yeh tujhe school se nikaal degi!" Aryaman joked, causing all of them to laugh quietly.
Yuvraj just smirked, his eyes still on Tanya, determined to keep pushing her buttons. This was a game for him—a challenge he was more than ready to play.
After the lecture, it was Lunch Time.As the cafeteria buzzed with activity, Mukti and Tanya stood in line, chatting and waiting for their turn when the football team entered. Mukti nudged Tanya, whispering, "Look at them—just out of the shower, all in their jerseys. Hot, right?"
Tanya rolled her eyes as Mukti continued, "The most popular guy is Yuvraj Singhania. He's our football champ and captain. He's been playing for two years, and under his leadership, we've won all the championships. And let's not forget that smirk—girls just go crazy for him."
Tanya, unimpressed, didn't care about the praise. Just then, she noticed Yuvraj and his friends cutting the line, going straight to the front. Fury bubbled inside her, and without hesitation, she marched up to them, despite Mukti trying to hold her back.
Tanya tapped Yuvraj on the shoulder, and as he turned around with a smirk, he said, "Kya hua, Tanya? Door nahi raha jaa raha mujhse?"
Glaring, she pointed at him and snapped, "Tum line break kar rahe ho! Hum sab kabse wait kar rahe hain apne turn ka, aur tumlog abhi aaye aur pehle lag gaye?"
Everyone around them fell silent, shocked. No one in school had ever scolded the football team or Yuvraj, let alone in front of everyone. The whispers began to spread like wildfire across the cafeteria.
Yuvraj, amused by her boldness, casually placed his tray behind him and grabbed Tanya's waist, pulling her closer. "Baby, pehle bolna tha na. Tumhe bhookh lagi hai toh tumhare liye bhi rakh leta."
He called out to Adi, "Aur daal zara meri plate mein," while still holding Tanya's hand. Then, ignoring her struggles, he dragged her to a side table. She wriggled to free herself, fuming, but Yuvraj firmly made her sit down and rested his hand on her waist again.
"Kya badtameezi hai ye?" Tanya snapped, her eyes blazing.
Yuvraj leaned in closer, his voice low and teasing, "Badtameezi toh abhi tumne dekhi hi nahi hai."
Their eyes locked in a heated stare until his friends, along with Mukti, joined the table. Tanya folded her arms and turned her face away in frustration. Yuvraj, unfazed, smirked and said, "Khao."
"I'm not hungry," she replied coldly.
He chuckled. "Haan haan, ladke jo pet bhar gaya hoga na?"
"You—!" she started to yell, but before she could finish, Yuvraj shoved a sandwich into her mouth. She angrily chewed it, glaring at him, while he burst into laughter.
