Chapter 24

"Hell nah I'ma shoo a 3 on his bitch ass" Khari teammate said.

The team just came from practicing and was about to get ready to head out to the bus to go to the game. Khari was just ready for this tournament to be over with so he can go home.

"Bring y'all monkey ass on so we can go." Khari said packing his basketball bag.

The team had to wear the red warm ups.

"You can't be calling us monkeys and you blacker than us." One of the teammates said.

They then make they way to the bus and everyone take they seat.

"Hey Hey Hey alright everybody listen up. Come gather around. We came here to win and we came here to mark our territory, don't get y'all ass out there playing like y'all don't know how to basketball and I mean that , we the best and we gone keep it that way , DO YALL HEAR ME?" The coach said.

"YES SIR." The team said in unison.

"BULLS ON 3 , 1 2 3" The captain on the basketball team said.

"BULLS" The team responded.

The team headed the stadium where they game would be taking place. At this point Khari couldn't think of nothing but Safari. He missed her , her smile , her smart mouth , her scent & being in her presence.

Khari went on Safari instagram looking at her , just taking in how beautiful she was. Next thing you know Khari got hard while looking at her pictures. He put his bag over his lap so nobody would know.

Khari got a text from Cookie

Hey boo , I miss you daddy😫
read 6:30pm

Khari looked at the message and didn't text her back. He wasn't fucking with Cookie no more , he didn't want no dealings with her. At this point he wanted to focus on him and Safari.

30 minutes later

"OKAY , YALL WE HERE ... GO BIG OR GO HOME , BULL ON 3 1 2 3" The coach said.

"BULLS" The team responded.

They all walked in and went to the assigned locker room to put the things down. They went on the court and started warming up. As Khari was warming up he seen a familiar face.

It was Kevin. His Dad.

Khari looked and froze .. he didn't know what was going on , he just knew he was looking at the person who left him and his mother.

Khari was so distracted by this , he didn't even want to play in the game anymore. How did he know he'd be here? Why is he here? What is he doing? What do he want with him? Khari was thinking all these things and couldn't get an answer.

After all these years , now he wanna show up.
