Chapter 14

6:00pm

"I'm so not ready to go to work" Safari said to herself as she put on her pink scrubs getting ready for work.

Safari missed her work friends , she was ready to lace them up on the tea that's been happening in her life for the past couple of days.

As Safari was getting ready for work , Hasani called her .. "Wasssup Sis , what you doin?" Hassi said over the phone talking to Safari.

"Hey Hassi , I'm getting ready for work" Safari Said.

"I just haven't been hearing from you fr , what's that about? That nigga got you in lala land?" Hasani said on the phone.

"Oh boy please no nigga would make me stop talking to my brother.. I just been busy , what u been up to ?" Safari responded

"Nothing just chopping it up with Nyla and shi , aye sis is she a hoe? Cause you know that's yo friend and shit." Hassi said.

"If she was I would've told you , you know that boy. I'ma call ya later i'm finna go to work."

"Ok I love you sis , Be safe." Hassi responded.

Lemme go ahead and get out this house so i won't be late to work. Safari grabs her keys & her pink stanley cup and heads out her penthouse

As Safari walks out , she's greeted by flowers and chocolate on her porch with a note.
"Hey mama , I just wanted to give you a lil something so you'll have a good day at work .. I got your address from Drew so I can send the gifts.. Have a great day at work and text me when u get this." Safari smiling ear to ear she hurries and picks up her phone and texts Khari.

7:00pm

Safari made it to her Job. "Let me hurry up and get out this car cause it's already 7 and Ion got time." Safari said to her self .

Walking in Safari is greeted by her coworkers Bri and Joselyn.

"Oh my goodness is that Fari?????" Bri said.

Laughing Safari says "Girl you know you play to much."

"We haven't seen you in so long, How long it been joselyn?" Bri Stated.

"Girl I don't know but you know you got some explaining to do Safari cause I been covering yo shifts." Joselyn Responded.
