Chapter 16

5:00am

Safari was so happy she was finally getting off work from a long day. She gathered her things behind the desk and took her keys out her purse.

"I see you tonight Bri , I'm finna go home and go straight to sleep." Safari said as she was making her way to the exit.

"Ok girl , I'll see you later , Love you & drive safe." Bri responded as she walked out behind her.

"Love you too & you too." Safari responded.

Safari made it to her car and opened the door & got in. As she got in the car her phone start ringing and she seen it was Khari calling.

"Why is he calling me at 5am?" Safari whispered to her self.

"Hello ?" She said looking confused

"Hey , Good morning " Khari responded

"Khari why are calling me at 5am?" Safari couldn't help but realize how seductive his sleepy voice was.

"Because I know this the time you get off work , I wanted to call & check on you." He said while laying down on the other side of the phone.

"So you wasn't sleep?" Safari said as she was backing out her parking spot leaving her job.

"Yea I was sleep and woke up just to call you , that's okay with you ma?" He said.

Smiling ear to ear because Khari knows the right things to say she says "Yes that's okay I just wasn't expecting it to be honest."

"That's cause you ain't talking to a bum nigga." He said.

"Boy whatever." Safari responded.

20 minutes into the call

"You ready to come spenna night with me?" Khari finally

"Yea , are you ready for me to come?" Safari said.

"Of course I am , I'm too ready for you .. I just wanna be up under you & hold you." He said.

"I know that's right." Safari said as she was pulling up in her parking garage at her penthouse.

"Well I just made it to the house , I'll talk to you when I wake up" She said.

"Alright , get your rest & make sure you text me when u wake up" Khari said.

Safari walked up to her door and got her keys out to unlock it , She unlocked her door , walked upstairs ,walked in her room and jump on her bed.

"I'm sooooooo tired man , Glad I don't have work tonight." Safari said while laying on her bed with everything still on.

Safari got up and changed her clothes , she put on a tank top and some shorts. She put up her hair in a ponytail and put on her customized bonnet with her face on it.

Then she finally got into her king size bed and got into her pink covers and closed her eyes & instantly went to sleep.

1:00pm

Safari has woken up to her phone ringing , Hasani was calling her to remind her about they brother and sister day today.

Safari woke up still feeling a little tired from work. Safari gets up and makes up her bed , goes in the restroom, pees , brush her teeth , wash her face , hop in the shower then do her skin care routine.

After she's done with that she goes in her closet to pick an outfit , she then picked a white bodysuit to wear with some clear sandals & black purse.

"I'm so tired of Hassi blowing up my fucking phone." Safari said as she looked to see who was calling her phone.

"What the fuck do you want nigga." She said

"First off you definitely not talking to me like that , Second off what the fuck u doing ? He said on the other side of the phone

"Nigga I'm getting ready what the hell you think I'm doing ?" Safari responded.

"I wouldn't ask if I knew what you was doin , hurry up please." Hassi said.

"Wtv" Safari responded.
