An early September hike is the perfect way to embrace the changing season. The air feels warm but not overbearing, and the sun's golden rays caress your skin rather than scorch it. Leaves are just starting to turn, painting the landscape with shades of amber, rust, and burnt orange, adding a vibrant backdrop to your adventure.

You and your friends had planned this hike for some time, and thanks to a few professionals in the group, everyone was well-prepared. You were a bit anxious about your own physical endurance, but your friends promised to take it slow. The trail you'd chosen wasn't the toughest, yet it promised breathtaking views and peaceful spots along the way.

Lee Know, a usual advocate for camping but typically on lower grounds, had never hiked this high into the mountains. Although he was anxious, he masked it as usual, not wanting to tarnish his composed image. He wasn't the only one with nerves, though. Y/N, the rookie of the group, was doing her best to keep up, her determination admirable if not a bit misplaced. Lee Know knew she would probably enjoy the scenery more if it didn't involve hours of hiking uphill. Still, she pushed on, and he couldn't help but admire her spirit.

After what felt like forever, the group finally reached their designated campsite. The moment they stopped, a flurry of activity began—catching their breath, snapping pictures, and the familiar sounds of unzipping bags, setting up tents, and the crackling of a fire being lit.

Y/N, however, was having trouble. No matter what she did, her tent wouldn't stand. Frustrated, she realized there were parts missing. Fortunately, Lee Know noticed her struggle. Ever the gentleman, he offered his help, and within minutes, he discovered the root of the problem: the tent was ripped, and crucial pieces were missing. Y/N, quite literally, had no shelter for the night.

The group gathered to discuss the dilemma, but no one seemed too eager to share their tent. Y/N, not wanting to inconvenience anyone, suggested she head back down the mountain before sunset. But as the sky began to turn pink and orange, Lee Know intervened, offering her a place in his tent—a small, one-person tent. The only solution.

It was, to say the least, an awkward situation. Lee Know, with his striking looks, sharp wit, and easygoing personality, had always caught Y/N's eye. If not for her insecurities, she might have asked him out long ago. But she was convinced she wasn't his type, and now, forced to share such close quarters, she was more concerned about hiding her feelings than about sleeping arrangements.

Lee Know, on the other hand, was secretly thrilled. He had always been curious about Y/N but never found the right moment to get closer. Well, now there was no avoiding it—at least physically.

As the group settled down for the night, Y/N kept delaying going to bed, nervous about the inevitable closeness.

"Y/N, let's go to sleep already. Don't worry, I won't bite," Lee Know yawned, seeing right through her hesitation.

"You're right. Sorry," she mumbled, finally crawling into the tent. Inside, with their backs pressed together and barely enough room to move, the tension was palpable.

"I hope you don't snore," Lee Know teased, breaking the silence.

"I'm a quiet sleeper. Do you?" she replied, trying to keep things light.

"No, I just talk."

"Great," she said, laughing softly.

They both tried to sleep, but within minutes, Lee Know's right arm went numb. He attempted to shift carefully, but the cramped space made it impossible. After a moment of internal debate, a sly idea crossed his mind. Instead of trying to avoid touching Y/N, he wrapped his arm beneath her neck, letting his left arm rest on her waist. His legs tangled with hers, and finally, he felt comfortable.

Y/N, on the other hand, froze. The sudden intimacy caught her off guard, and she lay completely still, her heart pounding.

"Relax, it's just a hug. I can feel how stiff you are," Lee Know murmured, sensing her tension.

It took every ounce of effort for Y/N to relax even slightly. She couldn't help but feel butterflies in her stomach, grateful that her blush was hidden by the dark. Slowly, she shifted, trying to find a comfortable position. But her movements had an unintended effect on Lee Know. Now it was his turn to go rigid.

And then Y/N felt it—a subtle but unmistakable shift in his body.

"Y/N," he groaned softly, his voice thick with desire.

A thousand thoughts raced through Y/N's mind, her heart thundering in her chest. But before she could process them, Lee Know made the first move. He hugged her tighter, his body pressed firmly against hers, and planted a kiss on the back of her neck. Shivers ran down her spine as she felt his breath warm against her skin.

The intensity of the moment shattered her hesitation. In one swift motion, Y/N turned to face him. Though the darkness concealed their faces, she could feel his breath on her lips, the heat between them unmistakable. Without thinking, she closed the gap, pressing her lips to his.

The kiss was electric, igniting something between them that had been simmering for far too long. Their quiet surroundings were quickly forgotten as they melted into each other, hands exploring, bodies pressing together in the tight space. Any hope for a restful sleep disappeared, replaced by the intensity of their desire. The cramped tent, once a problem, now seemed like a blessing in disguise.
