The Princess and the Witch CHAPTER 7

A huge desert is shown, several knightmares of foreign design are advancing through the sand.

"There's no summary in this episode?" Kallen asks.

"Apparently not." Tohdoh replies. "I wonder what determines whether an episode has a summary."

Rivalz concentrates more on the knightmares on the screen. "What knightmares are those? They look quite different from the ones we've seen so far."

"They're Bamides," Cornelia replies. "They were created in the ancient Federation of the Middle East."

"Open fire!" orders the commander of the federation as he himself in his Bamides fires the first shot, which destroys a Britannia tank.

The soldiers listen to their commander and follow his example and start firing with their knightmares, to which the Britannian tanks also start firing, causing a large amount of dust to spread. Several Britannian knightmares advance, hiding in the dust, which are revealed to be Cornelia's Royal Guard.

"Ah," Guilford says in recognition of the knightmares. "It looks like they're showing the moment we finally conquered the Federation."

"It seems so," Cornelia says, remembering her conquest. "We had to do it faster because of Clovis's death."

"Gloucesters?" says one of the soldiers

"They should be in Serbia!" says another soldier.

The Britannian knightmares advance until they get quite close to the Bamides.

"Shoddy oversized imitation knightmares!" Andreas Darlton says inside his knightmare.

"Darlton..." Cornelia whispers sadly as she sees the man who had followed her for so long. "I'm sure it was Lelouch who made you attack me, there's no other possibility."

Guilford also looks sadly at his former partner. "Darlton... Surely you must hate me, after all my mistakes caused almost all of your children to die... I'm sorry."

"They would have been wise to surrender from the beginning!" says Guilford in his knightmare.

Guilford quickly attacked the Bamides where the commander was, causing it to lose a leg and the people inside to nearly fall off. In the distance, what appeared to be a building in the area suddenly exploded.

"What?" says another confused Commander.

In the distance just where the building had been only Cornelia's personal knightmare can be seen, which is in the middle of huge walls of fire.

"Cool," says Rivalz, amazed at the scene. "It really does look like something from a movie."

"It's quite a scene," Milly seconds. "It really does seem that theatricality is a common trait in the Royal Family."

"Cornelia!" The second commander looks furiously at his adversary. "Impossible! With only one machine..." but before the Commander can finish speaking his Bamides explodes, which quickly ends his life. Cornelia's knightmares can still be seen in the distance, just watching the scene.

"We did it!" Cornelia announces in her knightmare. "Area 18 has been established."

Kaguya listens carefully at Cornelia's proclamation. "It really shows how powerful Britannia was at the time, they were able to destroy the Middle Eastern Federation with utmost ease, although..." Kaguya recalls that several Federation rulers ended up joining the UFN. "that just ended up making us able to become stronger."
