"I woke up with a start, my heart racing. 3 AM. Just a dream, I reassured myself.

Pankaj stirred beside me. 'Dude, what's wrong? Why are you awake?'

'Morning routine,' I replied, trying to calm my racing thoughts.

'At 3 AM?' Pankaj raised an eyebrow.

'I'm going for a jog after meditation,' I explained.

Pankaj yawned. 'Okay, dude. Good night.'

I stepped out onto the terrace, enveloped by the crisp night air. The cold breeze invigorated me, refreshing my senses.

The city slept, but I felt alive. Stars twinkled above, and the moon cast a silver glow.

I breathed deeply, feeling the chill air fill my lungs. My meditation began, and my mind cleared.

As I jogged, the darkness receded, and the sky transformed into hues of pink and orange.

Nature's symphony accompanied me – birds chirping, leaves rustling.

I returned, feeling revitalized.

The following morning in college, our professor announced, 'The Sports Fest will take place by the end of January.

Registration is mandatory for participation.

Forms will be available online and offline.

Don't miss this opportunity!'

Excitement rippled through the class.

Aditi caught my eye, a hint of a smile.

'Basketball, here we come!' Yash whispered, grinning.

I nodded, determination igniting within.

This was our chance to shine.

But as I glanced at Aditi, "I wondered – would our conversations remain a secret?

Or would the sports fest bring us closer, and our friendship out into the open?"

I registered for the Sports Fest with unbridled excitement, alongside my friends. Pankaj joined badminton, Aman opted for volleyball and badminton, while I signed up for athletics, basketball, volleyball, and cricket. Aditi, however, chose to support me instead of participating.

"Hey, I'll be cheering for you!" she messaged on Instagram. "Let's catch up during the fest."

Her words sent shivers down my spine.

As we began practicing,Aditi's  encouragement fueled my determination. Our team's camaraderie grew stronger with each passing day.

Day 1: The Dean's Speech

The Sports Fest commenced with the Dean's monotone address. The MBA students, built like bodybuilders, intimidated us. I lost my indoor games in the second round, feeling like a novice despite years of experience.

During lunch, I stole 10 minutes with Aditi. Her charming smile and caring words revitalized me.

"You've got this!" she said. "Go crush those outdoor games!"

Day 2-3: Outdoor Games

Our team won two league games, securing a spot in the eliminators. The basketball team, with Yuvraj and Yash, dominated the court. I scored eight 3-pointers, leading us to an 89-65 victory against the BCA class.

Day 4: Athletic Events

Yash and I qualified for the finals, scheduled for the last day. Our basketball team won all league games, while the volleyball team lost to MCA students.
