Wing walked down the street, approaching a house way too familiar.
Not far behind, Headzo marched closer.
And closer he got.
Eventually, they were practically at the door and so, Headzo made his move.
He grabbed Wing's shoulder tightly, causing them to be startled.
"The hell?" They stumbled back, confused and alert. "Oh. What the fuck do you want?"
Headzo squeamed at the fowl language.
"I want you to come with me, back home." He was hopeful.
"No! I gave you an option and you spat in my face!" Their astonishment was clear but they kept their anger in control.
Headzo went silent.
Believing the conversation to be over, Wing began to walk away.
"I saw what you did, Arsenic." He grasped at Wing's attention.
They turned back, fuming.
"Arsenic did nothing. I am not Arsenic! Wing tore Arthur's face from his head. Letting him go in the first place was my error. Now Arthur has got what he deserved!" They spoke.
"You can't just go around killing people. It's wrong." He tried to reach for the empathy that was never there.
"I can't? You mean shouldn't. Because I can do whatever the hell I like!" They insisted. "And you say it's wrong. But you're confused. It's morally wrong according to society. But people like us, the smart ones, are far beyond the morals of lesser man. We don't have the luxury of morals."
"Of course you have morals." Headzo stated. "If you didn't have an ounce of morality. You wouldn't only kill those who cause death and pain."
Wing couldn't help but giggle at the thought.
"And what pain has Cassidy caused?" They looked at Headzo's speechless face and smiled. "Exactly. Now that's the funny thing. What I'm about to do is purely out of spite. What I'm about to do is kill an innocent man because the thought that a person could be mentally ill enough to be friends with a murderer of children, and not give a fuck about the action, truly frightens me! I don't kill out of sick of morals. I kill out of fear for what society will become, if I don't!"
"I agree. Cassidy deserves punishment. Let the legal system deal with him." He pleaded.
Wing looked at Headzo, completely shocked.
"Sometimes I get so caught up with viewing you as my equal, that I forget what a naive posh twat you are!" They said. "You have a bright filter on your vision forcing you to see the silver lining of a cloud, instead of the downpour of misery and pain."
"Why are you unable to see the good in the world?" He queried.
Wing looked at him with disgust.
"Because unlike you, I wasn't loved, I wasn't protected, I didn't have parents supplying me with everything I could ever want! I had no friends! I rarely had food! My vision has been forever tainted red with blood, from all the agony I've endured." They stated.
Headzo stood in silence.
"Your parents shielded you from the rest of the world and convinced you that there is good everywhere. When you sat in fancy restaurants, dressed in suits, or sat learning advanced maths and science. I was stabbed and scarred. I had children laying dead on the floor, beside me. I walked down streets and saw people with no home and no hope. I didn't have the luxury of education. From the moment I was born, I was doomed to suffer. The people from where I'm from were treated like shit by the government, the police, and the upperclass snobs like you! If you got into trouble with the law, you lot can pay for it to be forgotten, whereas we're beaten and caged. You don't know anything about how fucked up society is. So shut the fuck up!" They were angry.
