They were carefully approaching an old memory.
A place stained in past blood, dried and red.
Wing, shrouded in black, walked towards a boy, aged slightly more, since last they spoke.
"I'm glad you made it." Wing spoke calmly, monotone, keeping their face hidden.
The voice made the boy, who had been waiting bored, turn in surprise.
"I didn't think I'd have much choice." He said, a lump pressing deeply in his throat.
Wing still didn't look at the boy, ashamed of his own creation.
"I require your assistance." They kept a serious tone.
"You've changed? I preferred your old outfit. It was less...emo." He said, ignoring what Wing exclaimed.
"I need your assistance." They repeated.
"And why should I help you? Last we met you made your disgust for me clear. I owe you nothing. If I help you, what do I get in return." He asked, with pain in his heart.
"Your life." They continued, "last time we crossed paths I spared your life. I was weak then. I'm different now. I wouldn't even give crushing the life out of you, a second thought. So I recommend, if you value your life, do as I say!"
The boy stammered back, only now noticing the differences between the demon he knew and the devil that stood in front of him.
"What do you want me to do?" He questioned, afraid of the answer.
"In the dirtiest, shittiest part of the city, is a building. A school ran by a 'blackening church'. A school whose children are left with 'marks of weakness' and 'marks of woe'. A school for only kids who it is believed 'blights with plagues' society as a whole." Wing began.
"Sabbat Manor?" The boy asked.
Wing nodded slightly, hatred fueling their movements.
"I'm going to burn it to the ground." Their serious nature was enough to send a shiver down the spine of anyone, even the crazed serial killer the boy had become. "But I need a way in first. I refuse to end the lives of the students. And you are my way in."
The boy looked back at Wing, with a curious face.
"I, for obvious reasons, cannot stand around a school, watching, in an attempt to find an easy way inside." They continued, "hence my need for you."
The boy nodded, accepting his orders.
"I'll give you a single week to find my entrance. To be clear, I want a legal way inside. One where I can get close to the students, to get them out of harms way. You will meet me back here, at this exact time, one week from now, with your answer. Do not be late and do not have failed." They finished.
"And what will you be doing?" The boy asked, aware he may not get an answer.
"I'll be preparing. It's been a while since I fought; I need to be ready for what's coming." Wing looked directly at the boy's face, a smile glided softly over it, much to Wing's disgust, as well as an odd feeling of pride.
Confused by Wing's expressions, the boy turned away, slightly nervous.
"You know after all this time, I've never told you my name." The boy turned back around, but Wing had gone.
