Moon x Solar (Violent Sun AU)

(This story will start off from the first chapter of Violent Sun. It's not gonna be 100% accurate but i'm trying my best)

Moons POV

I was sitting at the security desk in the daycare, Solar sitting beside me on his phone. I heard the daycare doors open, Sun walked in with a glazed look in his eyes, as if he weren't really there.

"You good Sun?" I asked with concern, he didn't respond. I got up and placed my hand onto his shoulder, he jumped away startled.

"AhGh! OH UH! Yea?! What's up?" He said trying to act like he wasn't just spacing out, I sighed.

"Are you ok? You look kinda out of it" He hesitated for a second and then sighed.

"Y-yea... Just really tired, I'm going to head home." He waved goodbye and quickly left before I could say anything.

"THEN WHY DID YOU COME HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?!" Solar yelled through the door, I looked at him and then back at where Sun once was.

"He's been acting like that a lot lately" I sighed under my breath, Solar raising an eyebrow.

"Then why don't you have a talk with him? Y'know, maybe he's doing it for attention." Solar offered, looking back at his phone. I groaned and looked at the work I had done on the computer.

"I dunno... It's just not like him to just space out, his eyes were like he was looking nowhere- I'm just worried." I watched as Solar slowly nodded from my side view.

"Hey, how about we get your mind off of this topic. We can go play a game... or walk, or I dunno- just talk?" I nodded, sighed and then stood up.

"How about a walk?" I finally decided, Solar stood up and stretched. Despite there being an option to work on projects, I'd like to just enjoy something else. We walked out of the pizza plex and headed towards a nearby forest, following a path. Solar was wearing a blue zip up jacket while I was wearing a black, slightly oversized hoodie. As we walked in silence I noticed Solar just looking at me, It was almost as if I was about to do something bad.

"What's up?" I said turning to meet his gaze, he seemed to snap back to reality and quickly look away.

"Uh- n-nothing..." I shrugged and we kept walking for about an hour, we said our goodbyes when we made it back and I teleported home. It was slightly dark out, and kinda hard to see. I walked up the driveway and saw Sun out, he was power washing the driveway pavement. The water seemed to look weird, it must be mud. (little did he know that Sun just murdered someone ehehehe

"Oh hey Moon!" Sun said with his normal tone of voice, weird.

"Hey Sunny, you feeling better?" I walked up to him as he turned off the power washer, setting it down.

"Yea, I think cleaning really helped me out." He said looking down at the pavement with some kind of hungry look in his eyes, I shook it off.

"Well I'm gonna go make dinner, wanna help out?" Sun shook his head and grabbed the small machine.

"I'm going to clean up a bit more, I'll come get dinner in a bit." I nodded and went inside, taking off my hoodie and hanging it up. My stressful thoughts melted away as I started to cook, thoughts of Solar melting in. He cared so much about me, even though his Moon was a jackass, I'll have to talk to him about it.

Solars POV

After the walk with Moon I went back to the daycare theater, he and I had a great conversation. The only downside was that he caught me staring at him like a puppy, I felt my face start heating up just from the embarrassment.

I walk into the theater and start to clean the snack counter, thoughts of Moon still fresh in my mind. I smiled to myself, he's always been so sweet to me. My Moon always hated me, he made me the way I am now. Well mostly, I did interrogate Sun for a while before we tried to... separate. I felt my smile disappear as quick as Iit came, feeling a wash of guilt flood over my mind.

"It's all my fault... I couldn't do anything- why. Why couldn't I just stay..." I crumpled to the ground and felt tears start to bubble up, I pulled my knees to my chest trying to calm my breathing. I wish Moon was here... I decided to text him if I could stay the night at his place, he replied quickly with a yes. I teleported over in about an hour after cleaning up the rest of the theater and myself. I teleported over and plopped myself onto their couch, guessing Moon was already asleep.

I heard footsteps coming from the stairs and when I looked up I saw Sun, he looked content. He was holding bleach and his daycare clothing, he didn't see me at first. He began to walk over to the bathroom that's past the couch.

"Ahem?" I tilted my head while still staring at him, trying to get his attention. He gasped and turned his head to my direction, it was dark because all the lights were off (except the kitchen light) so he squinted his eyes towards me.

"S-Solar? What are you doing here?!" he said in a loud whisper.

"I just wanted somewhere to sleep tonight so I came here, asking Moon of course." I said nonchalantly, he nodded and was about to walk away.

"Whatcha got there?" I said, obviously, that I was asking why he had it. His eyes widened and he slightly adjusted his weight from one leg to the other slightly hiding his daycare clothing behind his leg.

"Oh- y'know... some bleach because the kids stained my pants... that's all." he smiled and then quickly left. I sighed and laid down, quickly slipping into a deep sleep.
