Andromeda was flying around, starting to look for Oxide. She had previously asked around if anyone had seen him, which got her little assistance. The most she knew about him came from Onyx, who told her he was last seen going towards Mars before being pulled aside.
Keeping that information in mind, Andromeda soon flew over to look at Mars. She didn't have to go far, considering she couldn't see him.
Onyx soon flew over to her and sat down on a broken part of debris. "I'm assuming you asked me about him earlier since you're looking for him?"
"Yeah," Andromeda said. "It's a little unusual how long he's been away. I'm starting to think something might have happened."
After that, Onyx found herself floating alongside Andromeda, looking around to see where he could have gone. Something about the Solar System just didn't feel right without him around.
As they continued to search, Andromeda started to feel uneasy. Something had felt off, as she also couldn't seem to notice Dawn anywhere, even though she was consistently around the Solar System.
"Onyx.." Andromeda said quietly, looking worried towards Onyx.
"I know. I feel as hollow as you." Onyx said, holding her arm awkwardly as they flew by Mercury.
Suddenly, Onyx covered Andromeda's mouth, and dragged her over to behind Mercury. Andromeda whined and tried to move, but stopped moving when she also heard it too; an explosion.
Just then, the duo heard Sombra's voice, speaking to another guardian.
"Remember. You don't speak out of line, you don't go anywhere I don't tell you to go, and you report back to me if you find Andromeda, understood?" Sombra commanded.
"Yes, Sombra." Oxide said, his voice deprived of the joyful energy it once had.
Andromeda had to fight the urge to start crying on the spot. She wasn't supposed to overhear what Sombra had caused, and she would've probably cried seeing Oxide in the state he was in. Onyx gave her a hug and quietly cried to herself, causing Andromeda to do the same.
Both of them stopped as they heard Sombra and Oxide float off. Onyx let go of Andromeda, as she fought everything to not cry so intensely in front of a little one.
"I-It's okay to cry.." Andromeda said, her voice barely coherent.
Onyx then hugged Andromeda once more. "Teleport us to Saturn. We need to speak to Hyperion about this."
Andromeda teleported over towards Saturn with Onyx, realizing she could teleport with other people as long as they were close to her, whether they were hugging or not.
Hyperion was resting next to Saturn, but immediately got up as he saw the girls crying.
"Girls? What's the matter? Why are you both crying?" Hyperion said worriedly as he went over and wiped away their tears.
Onyx explained what she and Andromeda overheard to Hyperion, trying her best not to break down completely. Hearing the information almost made Hyperion want to disappear as he held his arms behind his back, attempting to hide his discomfort and anxiety. He took a deep breath and looked towards the girls.
"We're going to need to round up everyone, and quickly. Who knows how many more people are under Sombra's mind control?"Andromeda and Onyx nodded, as the trio split up their own ways to retreat who they could, while keeping a mental note as to who was already controlled.
Onyx flew over and immediately found Avani, but she wasn't with Diana.
"Avani..you already know what's going on, right?" Onyx muttered.
Avani turned around and nodded, tears forming in her eyes for what felt like the first time to Onyx. "She took Diana from me.."
