Fred and George exchanged looks, what had this kid been through? They knew he was Harry Potter... but he seemed like one of Professor Snapes more... damaged Snakes. They knew that Snape had potions and stuff for when he found an abused student, so they'd have to do their best to get some... maybe they'd go to him... after all, they couldn't risk their little mate being hurt. He's a kid after all, and kids are to be protected. They held him, letting him sob into them, they didn't like crying. They hated when their younger siblings would cry... even if Ron was a bit of a git. Don't get them wrong though, they'd use spiders whenever he'd insult any snake. Slytherins we're not evil, ok? They were just... misguided. Most of them never turned dark, and those that did tended to be pushed into it by family. Fred looked down, noticing that Harry had fallen asleep. He adjusted so that Harry's  head was in his lap, and his legs were in George's lap. Their little mate was rather cute. They looked up as the door opened, it was just Ron. Mum had told him to find them if he couldn't find Harry Potter, Dumbledore had asked them to keep an eye on Harry... but mum thought that sounded a little weird. Everyone thought that the Weasleys would follow Dumbledore no matter what, but after Dumbledore lied about Fabian's and Gideon's deaths... they all stopped. They were thankfully still alive, and in fact had moved to a nice location on a beach. Their family visits every month in the summer, minus those that have work, and they all spend holidays there. Fred and George especially loved it when uncle Regulus, Uncle Fabian and Uncle Gideon's mate, happened to set up pranks. It was always so much fun, after all, Fred and George against three trained wizards may not be a fair fight, but it was certainly a fun one... Fred waved Ronald in, sidestepping his thoughts, and quietly shushed him. They didn't want to wake Harry up after all. He was sleeping so soundly, and he looked cute in his sleep.

George watched his mate sleep, unlike Fred he was... unsure. He knew that this was the right pairing, he could feel it, but he wasn't sure if it was safe. After all, his uncles almost died, all because they were paired wrong, what of Dumbledore didn't like it, and he had them killed? Would Harry survive that, or would it kill him too. He didn't want anyone to die, except maybe the old Goat. He had listened to the stories, whenever a Weasley turned of age and got the invite to join the order, it was disbanded but Dumbledore still used it, they were told of what almost happened to Fabian and Gideon. How Fenrir had chosen to spare them, only because he hated Dumbledore more, and that if Fenrir had wanted to... they wouldn't have ever known their uncles. George also knew, that what set the whole thing off, was Uncle Regulus accepting his mates. It was terrifying, but perhaps... they'd just need to use a little Gryffindor courage, and a wee bit of luck, to make this work.
