Timeskip: you have been getting better, UA had sent the bill for surgery. At the moment, you were currently laying on your hospital bed, post-surgery.

...

"Mrs (L/n), here's your dinner" a nurse said.

"Thank you," the food on the plate looks average, some peas, mashed potatoes, chicken and gravy.

You dug in, being hungry since you haven't ate for a while because they don't allow you to eat before surgery, due to the chance of throwing it up and choking.

No one had visited you so far, you checked your phone, no texts or calls. Not even a good luck or how are you feeling. You sigh, expecting it, you didn't have many friends, you were known as the quiet girl. Social anxiety sucks, the only people you talked to were Bakugou and Aizawa.

Sadly, your parents were a different story. Your parents never really cared about you, they were just there? Paying for basic child needs and that was it, you were an only child. You stared at the white hospital walls, scanning for anything to occupy yourself with. But you found nothing.

You wanted to call bakugou.

To see if he was doing okay, but you didn't. He probably was busy, you were told that he and Aizawa were informed of the surgery since it was a school day. You had started doubting whether they actually cared. It was almost 10pm and no one had messaged at all. The surgery had a 50-50 chance of survival, but did anyone care? No.

This hospital room was driving you insane. Katsuki cared right? Otherwise, he wouldn't have forced you to take a surgery. UA cared too right? They wouldn't have paid if they didn't care.

This fucking room.

The white walls.

The minimalism.

You wanted to go home, hug your stuffed animal, and sleep. Maybe even cry.

You hated hospitals.

Every. Single. Thing.

The feeling of being in one made you lightheaded, you don't know why.

No one cares.

You're just a little girl with no friends and no family who cares. Maybe you shouldn't have even taken the surgery, UA spent useless money on you, they could've spent it on something more important.

But you were greedy and selfish.

You don't know why you're thinking so negatively all of a sudden, but everything made sense. They only act like they care, and when you need them, they dissappear.

You check the 1a group chat.

"Have you guys seen (L/n) today?"

"No, it doesn't matter anyway, not like she talks"

"I mean yeah, but she's still a classmate"

"Honestly I don't even know how she got into UA, how is she going to save people when she can't even get the guts to speak?"

Oh.

You close your phone.

The reason you never talked much was because you had a tumor near your throat and another near your brain, causing pain whenever you spoke.

But of course they didn't know.

It was removed though, so hopefully you can speak more freely now.

Not like you would speak much in general anyway...

What if they were right? What if you were just a waste of space and someone way more special would be in your place?

You sigh and rub your eyes, why couldn't you be the talkative one? The one who fits in? Instead of the silent girl in the back of the class, always wearing baggy clothes and little to no makeup.

...

Yesterday came, still no calls or messages.

...

You wanted to get out.

So you did.

You packed your stuff and left the hospital. The journey started to UA, you looked like a mess, but you didn't care, you just wanted to see if anyone will care.

'Beep' the card scanned, you walked into the school. The hallways were empty, everyone in class. So you entered yours.

Some stared, but no one said anything, not even a hi. As you sat in the chair, you slumped. You hid your head in your arms. Why was it so hard to be loved? You just wanted someone to hug you, and tell you that they care. But no one does. You're a speck in the whole world, why would anyone care?

Someone spoke up.

"So do you have any memory loss?"

What?

"Me?" You ask.

"Yes you, who else?"

"No" you answer, your throat was sore, you couldn't speak.

"Is it that hard to give more than a one word response? It's getting on my nerves you know, I'm talking to a brick wall."

"Sorry" you say, with a small cough.

"You're so annoying (L/n), this is why nobody likes you, all you do is sit there like a rock"

Nobody likes me?

Hah.

It was expected wasn't it?

"Oh" you say.

"That's all you have to say? How pathetic"

You try to speak but you can't, your throat hurts to much. The only sound that comes out is a voice crack.

She rolls her eyes, some others were talking about you.

Your eyes searched for bakugou, he was hanging out with his 'cool' friends.

No one really needed you.

Would it be better if you were gone?
