"Sooo.. anyone caught your eye yet?" Said my bff Lucy she's been through thick and thin with me yet here I am wasting our limited time together staring off into nothing. "isa!!" "Huh? What-? I'm sorry Lucy I'm kind of been out of it lately.." "yeah no duh what's got your mind all up in a knot hm?" She leans forward onto her hands smiling at me. "Is it a guy perhaps..? Maybe a certain.. Kai??" Hearing her say his name I felt my face get hotter "no! Omg Lucy that is not it ok!?" "Ok ok! Geez little over the top much? Anyway sorry to cut this short but I gotta go sadly.." with that she stood up gave me a hug and sped walked away to wherever she needed to be- and left me to be a air headed weirdo in public by myself ever since we decided to move to New York together she has been work work work. Then there's me.. bouncing from job to job never seeming to find a good fit. Right now I'm working at this private bar smack dab in the middle of New York My family isn't the most supportive of my job well- jobs they think me being 25 means I should already be settled in some type of career like my older sister. They've always compared me to her no matter the situation or circumstances.. At least now I can be me away from them.
