I startle awake due to a loud banging coming from my door. Who in their right mind would be banging on someone's door this early it's 8am for crying out loud. I open my door to see my younger sister standing there with tears in her eyes. "What happened to you?" "I don't want to talk about it can I stay here for a few days?" She says as she pushes past me into the hall. "I mean obviously you can but I'd like to know why you're crying Eva." She turns to look at me a mix of sadness and anger in her eyes. "I told you I don't want to talk about it." "Doesn't change the fact that I want to know who made you this upset." "Since when do you care?" "Don't you dare turn your anger on me you know I've always cared about you." She turns back around and stomps up the stairs. "Eva! Come on what's going on?" I follow her but it's hard to keep up with her sprint walking away from me like her life depends on it. "Winch room is the spare one?" She says completely ignoring what she doesn't want to hear. "The last one on the left." "Thanks." I hear her slam the door shut before I can even reach the top of the stairs. I sigh and head back downstairs since Eva clearly is not in the mood to talk about whatever is going on. She forgot her stuff by the door I should bring it up for her even if she won't tell me what's going on she's still my younger sister I can be nice and carry her suitcases up the stairs. What in the world does she have in these things rocks? Because damn these are heavy as hell. I somehow get them up the stairs and set them outside the room Eva decided to take over. "Hey Eva! I got your stuff from downstairs if you want it?" I hear her get up and unlock the door she opens it just a crack "thank you Kai I'm sorry about what I said earlier." I smile a little she never admits when she's wrong even when we were kids so this must be serious. "It's ok do you want to tell me what happened now?" She sighs and looks up at me slightly pouting. "Alright fine it can wait." She half smiles at me nods and then closes the door. She didn't even grab her stuff from me. Back down the stairs I go I guess. I sit back down on the couch and turn back on the tv and that's when my phone starts ringing. Damn I can't even get an hour of peace in a day. I flip my phone over to see it's grey "hey what's wrong?" I can hear Grey sigh "I'm sorry sir I know it's your day off but some idiots are here saying they need to speak with you and won't leave till they do." "Alright I'll be there in 20 make sure no one does anything stupid." "Will do sir see you soon." "Yep bye." I stand up turn the tv off and head back up the stairs to my bedroom and get dressed in record time fix my hair and yell to Eva as I head back down the stairs that I'm leaving. I don't hear a response before I'm already out the door locking it behind me.
