The Hospital Bed

"Where am I?" Gouenji asked himself as he scratched the back of his head.

"Fubuki! You’re finally awake." Endou said in a cheerful tone as he hugged him to death.

"Ooof… What are you talking about? I'm not Fubuki. I'm Gouenji." he exclaimed.

"You need to go back to resting, Fubuki. I have a feeling that you’re not thinking straight." he said in a worried tone.

"Endou…You must have hit your head or something."

“Look at yourself, in the mirror, Fubuki.”


Gouenji looks at the held up mirror and gasps at his own reflection.


“Endou, this is Fubuki’s body. Where did my body go?” he said, trying to sit straight.

“Fubuki, you are Fubuki Shirou. Not Gouenji Shuuya. Calm yourself down before I get help from the nurses.” he said, forcing him to sit down.

“I. Am. Gouenji Shuuya.” struggling to break free from Endou’s grip.

“Prove it, if that’s the case, Fubuki.”

"The time I saved that kid from the first time we met."

“Everyone knew about that.”

“How about when you followed me to the hospital and knew about my Yuuka’s condition, at the time.”

“Okay, I believe you.” Endou gasped and kept slapping both of his cheeks to prove that he was not dreaming. "Okay! I’ll believe you especially that I’m not waking up from this dream but I’m just wondering who left with your body with Yuuka-chan, two weeks ago." Endou said.

“What? Two weeks? Where is my body now? I need to find my body and Yuuka.”

“He goes to the tower, every now and then.”

“Good.”


In a heartbeat, Gouenji escaped from the hospital room as the hospital staff chased him down the hallways while Endou barely stopped the staff. Somewhere, at the Inazuma Steel Tower, there stood Gouenji's body watching the sunset facing back his own sight.


"Fubuki Shirou?" Gouenji!Fubuki sheepishly asked.

"I know that voice, its mine." Fubuki!Gouenji thought to himself. “Gouenji, please tell me, are you in my body?"

"Yes!" Gouenji!Fubuki said as he approached his originally owned body "What are you doing here? I should be with Yuuka, right now."

"Your sister? Oh, Yuuka has many friends to play with. You don’t need to go overprotective brother mode on her."

"Another thing, did you do anything to change my family's views of me especially Otou-san’s?"

"No. Surprisingly, I’m blending in, quite well."

"And nobody knows about this body swap?"

"What body swap?" Aki said with Ichinose at her side as they climbed up the flight of stairs.
