The rain pelted down on me like tiny sharp knives cutting into my skin. The sleek roads shined from the little lightposts around.
I jumped on a pole that was horizontal, and jumped over a school bus. I landed in a crouched position in front of two teenagers. One was a girl with short blonde hair and the other was Brett.
Both of their eyes glowed yellow in warning. I felt my eyes glow their burning red.
"Hurry up! Let's go!" I yelled. Brett helped the girl up only to get shot in the back with an arrow. He gasped in pain. I looked down the path they came from but didn't see anybody.
I pulled the arrow out of his back. I let him go ahead of me, staying right behind to where I could keep an eye on both of them. I leaned my head to the right as an arrow whizzed past my face.
A man with a crossbow came out of nowhere trying to hit me in the head. I ducked underneath his arm, pushing him into a gate. I ducked again to dodge his throw. He shot an arrow, making my hand fly up to my face catching the arrow. It was enough to distract me. He kicked my stomach making me fall on the ground.
I growled at him, my eyes burning a brighter red. He swung his crossbow down on me. I caught his hand and punched his chest with my other hand. He flew back to the gate, falling face first on the ground.
I ran down the narrow path following Blondie and Brett's trail. I seen them running onto the lacrosse field.
"Wait! No you idiots!" I shouted. But they ignored me. I huffed, running up to them. By the time I caught up to them, we were standing in the middle of the field.
"Hurry, follow me before-" I started but stopped when the field lights started coming on one by one. I squinted, shielding my face from the light. blondie held onto Brett's arms for dear life.
Laser beams started trailing up the field up to us. I pushed the two beta's behind me. I growled loudly as the red beams focused on me.
"Brett... Brett, what's happening?!" blondie cried desperately.
"Close your eyes" he said in a somewhat confident voice.
A arrow started flying towards my chest. I went to catch it but instead a sword of some kind slashed it in half. My snapped to the side to meet Kira's. I narrowed my eyes at her.
"Run!" She yelled at us. The two beta's instantly complied. But I stayed standing where I was.
"You can't stay by yourself!" I shouted at her. Her eyes grew angry at the sight of me and I could understand why. I stole her kinda boyfriend even though she doesn't know that yet.
"A pack sticks together" I said. That seemed to change her mind. I stood beside her, her katana raised to block arrows, my eyes glowing red.
I roared loudly as a signal of a fight. Several arrows flew at us. Kira cut hers in half while I caught most of the ones that came my way. I felt my hands burning probably because there was wolfsbane on them but the rain was helping slightly.

I helped Brett sit down on medical table in Deaton's vet room. Kira was helping blondie who was basically balling her eyes out. Deaton came from his office with a confused face. Trailing behind him was an older looking Asian lady. Her eyes flashed red as did mine.
"What happened? I'm their Alpha, Satomi" she asked coming over to examine them.
"Assassins" I breathed out leaning on Brett. I closed my eyes in pain when a burning sound sizzled in the air.
