Ch. 13

Ariana Pierce (Hale)

Have you ever wondered, how your life might end? How fast it will be? How painful?

Because right now, I think my life will end with me running up some bloody stairs. I could see black dots appear in my vision from the pain it was causing me.

I'm so stupid! I should've gone through the hospital, found am elevator, and take that instead of the stairs. Hell, I don't even know which floor to get off on.

I decided to trust my senses if I even have some anymore. They would be normal then they would just completely stop.

I tried smelling Scott, if that didn't sound weird this will. It was almost instantly I smelled his sweet rainy scent. I don't think I could ever forget that smell. What am I thinking?

I realized he was on the floor below me. I kicked the wall not meaning to create a hole.

"Are you bloody kidding me?!" I screamed in frustration. I stomped down the stairs the best I could, which really ended up with me falling down the stairs.

"Get up, get up" I whispered to myself. I used the railing to help me get up. I opened the door and walked into the halls of the hospital.

Nobody was on the floor which kinda creeped me out. I looked down one hall and the other to my left and right. At the end of the right hallway was a shadow.

My eyes widened as it started running towards me. I watched as the non-human creature covered in bones advanced towards me.

I tried running but it was no use. Before I could even take 3 steps it side swiped me, making me fly into a wall.

If things couldn't get worst, the power went out making it almost pitch black. Even without my night vision right now, I could definitely make out another shape down the hall. Similar to the one who was walking behind me. I was not going down without a fight. I stood up, my breathing becoming harsh, my eyes glowing. I didn't feel as much power as I usually did but it was better than nothing.

"Alright boys. You want a fight, come and get me" I growled. That's all it took for them to attack me.

The one behind me went first. It puched downwards to hit my face but I easily dodged it. I punched it with my right fist immediately recoiling it.

"Motherhover... You bitch! That hurt!" I yelled outraged. I seriously don't know what's going on with me. I don't usually play around when I'm fighting.

I jumped back to dodge another swing from it. I ended up jumping right in front of the other one. It grabbed me by the arm, slamming me into a wall.

The pain I once felt, earlier came back. I hunched over in pain. I'm so glad I did because just as I did that, the ugly thing tried stabbing me with a bone.

The pain went away again. I slid under the creatures legs. I jumped up in the air, kicking my leg out, pushing the creature into the wall hard.

I didn't get a chance to sense the other one punch me in the gut. I lost breath as I felt my body airborne. I was like that for a few seconds.

The floor connected with my back, then my head. I slid across the floor, crashing through double doors.

"I'm gonna kill you!" I shouted once I stopped moving. It took all my breath away just to say that.

"Ariana?" I heard Stiles' voice ask. I looked up to see him bending down in concern. Rage took over my body.

"Ariana? That's all you got to say to me right now! I have been looking for you, been in pain for the last hour or so, broke a door and climbed up many flights of stairs for you, got made as a punching bag, and all you got to say is 'Ariana'?" I rambled. I know I was basically arguing for nothing but I had to let it out.
