"No, I won," Natasha laughs, pointing her chopsticks at me.

"Natty, you lost a club in the water," I say.

My parents gifted me a day pass for their country club over the weekend, it was a long drive out of the city but I couldn't think of a better way to spend it than with Natasha.

We had spent a lot of time together but not necessarily alone. We had dinner together 2 days out of the week, we caught up for coffee on the weekends. I especially liked Saturday morning, while I was still waking up she was dressed in her running clothes with her face flushed pink and sweat dripping down her chest.

"It slipped out of my hands, I had a lot of sunscreen on them," She rolls her eyes playfully.

"Or did you lose on purpose because of our bet?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Oh, right the bet," she pretends not to remember.

"Mhm," I hum as I walk over to her, "loser has to do anything the winner wants," I poke the middle of her chest.

At the time of the bet, the prize was only put in as playful contest but now it seemed to be very much in my favor.

"And what does the winner want?"

"I'll have to think about that," I whisper, "but I have a pretty good idea."

"Give me a bit of a hint."

I pull up her chin and gently drag my thumb over her lips.

"Do you want-"

We both turn our heads to look at the door which someone had attempted to pull before now knocking.

I wasn't sure which one of us locked the door but it was common for us to have our own little time together with her glass walls clouded over.

She presses a button to clear them again when we were far enough away from each other.

"David, how may we help you?" She asks as I pull open the door for him.

"Ma'am, we may have a slight problem," he says nervously. He was from accounting which meant a couple things when it came to problems.

"Give us a sec," She smiled apologetically.

"Of course."

They were in there a long time and I had to pull myself away from staring at her.

The way she furrowed her brow as she concentrated was just so cute. At times she looked up and gave me a small smile.

I started browsing my email to occupy myself. Same old store promotions, sale codes, and...... Carol Danvers.

It was sent from her work email, up to this point she had only sent me things from her personal.

I questioned whether to open it but knew the anxiety of not knowing would eat at me.
