Henry walks with the coat out of the rubble-filled cave looking around and reminiscing about his time here, he remembers the happiness he felt finally getting food and water and the safety of this stable new home.
Henry sighs "It's a shame I have to leave this place, I guess il just have to find some new place," he says before continuing to walk. "Hmm, I wonder if Zaphratos is just being quiet or if he ran out of magical batteries or whatever he must have," he thinks to himself aloud, "he is a god or whatever but maybe something special happened when he was in that golden totem thing," he says still waking but slower deep in thought.
As he slowly walks continuing his thinking he passes the rocky surroundings and enters the grassy fields ahead. His thinking stops abruptly as he looks up shaking his head lightly "Oh, we're out of there" he says softly as he starts paying more attention to his surroundings.
He looks around continuing his slow walk seeing dry ground mostly hidden by long grass and a forest straight ahead on the right "Maybe we should keep in the open field for safety..." he thinks aloud, "well there's probably not gonna be many resources out here like food or water and no shelter so maybe il go into the forest" he says remembers his past encounter with the snake and changing his direction a bit to the right towards the forest.
He continues carefully walking towards the forest looking around for anything of interest and keeping his eye on the coat, he wonders why the coat is still following him even though he doesn't have any more fungi. A smile stretches across his face as he hopes they are bonded now "That would be nice if he stays" he thinks to himself happily.
As he walks towards the forest deep in happy thought his smile fades as he stops and looks ahead his heart beating faster, his body is frozen in fear and his gaze is stuck on the humanoid shadow awaiting him ahead concealed within the natural shadows of the forest.
The coat continues walking beside him on Henry's right for a moment then turns to Henry in confusion, Henry stays frozen his heart beating fast as he watches the humanoid shadow watch him. Henry's eyes stay locked on the figure ahead his vision becoming partially blurred as his eyes tear up from the long gaze. His heart thumps intensely as his mind floods with thoughts of panic and fear, he's unable to worry about things like his blurred vision or the coat beside him whilst that THING stays in his sight.
Henry finally gulps letting out a few quick audible breaths as he closes his eyes just for a moment hoping, no, praying that it stays where it is or maybe disappears he's really unsure of what he wants more. As his eyes open become partially less cloudy but still somewhat so he blinks a few more times quickly to completely restore his vision. He sees the figure is still there just staring at him showing no obvious emotion as well as lacking any feature other than its deep glowing white eyes.
Henry lets out a few more audible breaths before lightly gulping again and focusing on the figure, "Okay, okay, it can't get me, it must have some problem with the light or something" he says to himself trying to think about this rationally. "If it's even real that is," he says lightly smirking trying to give himself some false sense of confidence. "Yeah, if it's even real it can't get me," he says stretching and smiling lightly but still feeling the suppressed feelings of worry.
He looks partially at the coat still keeping his eyes on it, "C'mon buddy let's go a different direction" he says as he begins backing away not wanting to be around that THING any longer.
Henry turns around slowly and lets out a breath as he walks feeling a bit more scared now that it's out of his sight but he powers through as he sees the coat come up beside him from his left side. "Yeah, let's go find somewhere to stay for the night," he says starting to feel a bit better about that event. Henry and the coat walk through the field of grass away from the figure and watch the ground slowing down a bit to appreciate the scenery and the bits of nature that reside on the ground.
