3 days laterHenry awakens opening his eyes with a yawn feeling very energized but also disoriented after his long slumber. He sees the slowly brightening early morning sky as he stretches and begins to sit up slowly feeling the grass and small clumps of dirt against his arms and legs, "oh.. yeah the fight" Henry says in a low calm voice recalling the events from before his slumber before quickly jerking his head down shifting his view around his chest and arms as a confused expression envelops his face "was it a dream?" Henry says a bit louder in confusion as he sees his wounds are mysteriously gone. "Oh, Zaphratos? Are you there?" He says slowly with small pauses between each question. "Morning Henry" Zaphratos says in a slow calm voice "I see the spell worked perfectly," Zaphratos says. "That's why I'm healed?" Henry says in a lighter more excited and interested tone "That's awesome, I didn't think you had much magic or energy or whatever left" Henry says excitedly and curiously.
"Indeed Henry, it was certainly close but I had just enough power to use that slow regeneration spell" Zaphratos explains "I prefer to never use that type since it requires the vessel to be completely unconscious for a long period diverting all available energy to restoration" Zaphratos finishes.
"Yeah sounds dangerous, also wouldn't it take a bunch of energy just to ensure I don't die from not drinking and eating?" Henry asks curiously getting more interested in the spell. "Indeed, depending on the amount of sustenance required for the vessel more or less energy must be diverted for that, that's why it can often take quite a bit of time to restore everything" Zaphratos explains.
Henry smiles at that knowledge feeling interested and grateful they made it out and that he understands the spell decently. "That's really cool, so could we do the same kind of spell and just generate tons and tons of magic to like fight some big enemy like that death lady? Henry asks with a smile. "In theory yes, but every vessel has limits, Henry, in a typical human vessel the maximum energy is far lower than in my celestial vessel," Zaphratos says with a bit of pride.
Henry's smile fades a bit "Aww, can't we expand it somehow?" Henry asks glimmering with hope, "actually yes" Zaphratos says in a lighter tone "Things like enchantments, transformation spells, and most easily, enchanted items carried by a person" Zaphratos explains deep in thought imagining all the ways someone can possess more power.
"Ooh, those sound so cool, can we do one?" Henry asks his voice getting higher as he gains more excitement. Zaphratos mentally smiles at this, "I'd love to, which one do you have in mind?" Zaphratos asks in a higher but still calm voice.
All of a sudden they hear a voice from a dozen or two feet to their right "The human is still alive huh?" She says in a smiley upbeat voice. Henry turns towards her quickly in surprise not feeling particularly scared but his heart beats a bit faster. He sees a very tall smiling woman with long black hair and pale skin with a light blue tint, as she walks through the long grass of the field they're in he notices her dark blue dress that appears thin and light.
"uh, hello, do you know Zaphratos? Are you.. Maybe his wife?" He says somewhat quickly with a bit of nervousness. His eyes widen in surprise as his gaze travels over her and his view shifts to a small very young boy beside her on her left. The boy's skin has a more yellowish tint much closer to an average person like Henry but he has mid-length light green hair that starts high in the front and gets longer as it just almost covers his ears completely and reaches down to an inch before the bottom of the back of his neck.
The boy holds onto her dress lightly watching Henry with his light emerald-colored eyes a calm look on his face, the boy tilts his head to the right eyeing Henry continuously with interest while keeping his calm look.
