HANNI POV

"I like you" Minji suddenly burst out saying as the ride stopped. I blinked twice clearly shocked from the unexpected confession.

Like me? Like really really like me?..

My eyes were wide open and I was surprised and didn't know what to do. What does it mean? Was it really a confession? Our eyes stayed glued to each other as we were both stunned. The man who's in charge of the ride let out a cough, probably to give sense to us that we have to go since the place was closing.

"Okay, that's enough. Both of you go down now. I'm two minutes late from my shift." He was obviously irritated so we both followed what he said and distantly walked away from the ride.

Minji and I couldn't even stare at each other after what happened. Everything was just awkward but my heart couldn't stop thumping. My face was probably red from all the blushing I was feeling. I wanted to know what she really meant but that means confronting her and I don't want to be delusional about it again either.

I glanced at her, hoping to see if she was feeling the same way but I was caught off guard when she was already staring at me. I wanted to avert my gaze but she didn't. It was weird because it was the first time she looked at me without being shy about it.

We were distant but I could feel her being close to her.

I wanted to say something but then she started to blurt something.

"I knew this would happen." Minji nervously chuckled while putting both of her hands into her pockets. I was sure she was cold.

I slowly moved my hands towards the jacket Minji gave me. Tightening my grip around it, I took my steps closer to her and now we're walking side by side.

"Minji." I mumbled.

"What did you say before the ride stopped?" I asked, biting my lip to hide my smile.

I wanted to hear it again. It was the first time that confession became so heart fluttering to me. It was the first time that my stomach felt butterflies after hearing the word 'I like you.'

However, as I was hopeful we didn't stop nor did we say anything. It's like my question was left to be unanswered. Was I delusional again? Or was Minji messing with me? Did the mood carry her to say such things?

My smile fades but then Minji holds my hand. She immediately stops us both.

I looked into her as the night became my comfort. She was smiling yet shy about everything. I could tell just by looking at her red ears.

"I like you Hanni. I like you a lot." Minji confessed.

Right. I wasn't anymore delusional. Everything felt right and in place for the first time. Minji likes me.

"Hanni I like you not just a fan but someone who I want to be by my side everyday." Minji continues as she grins while she breathes heavily as she starts figuring out what expression I was making.
