HANNI

Well, it seems like I'm really living a dream right now. Being in the same label as my idol? I'm still in cloud nine! I took a deep breath while walking down the wide hallway, chuckling slightly along the way. Having small conversations with my idol makes me feel happy even now. I still feel a bit sad hearing about the song that she's working on right now. I wonder who's the girl she's talking about.

Were the rumors or articles true about her dating someone? But I've never really seen her with anyone. Also, she's so shy around meeting people.

Or maybe not everyone.

Is she uncomfortable around me?

I groaned at the thought. I hate when I overthink things like this when it shouldn't even concern me. Maybe I should go back to my room and start decorating it since Yujin's uncle told me to do so. Walking towards my given room, my eyes suddenly glanced at the room Minji was staying in. It was her studio.

"I can't believe I still ended up here." I sighed loudly. I took a walk around the building to clear my mind but I ended up going back here. Was I that desperate?

I, being pathetic suddenly stops near her studio to listen to the music playing that was so loud it can be heard outside her room. I then jumped a little- startled when she suddenly opened the door.

Freak!

I didn't know what to do. My whole body just froze, even my mind went blank. I couldn't think of anything to do! What do I tell her if she ask me what's my purpose? Hanni? Why did you even come here? Her thick eyebrows were furrowed as she seems a bit troubled by something. It was written all over her face that she was bothered by something I couldn't even dare to ask because who am I?

The music then became clear while her eyes landed on mine, us being silent for a second. We were both speechless.

"H-hanni?" It came out as a question-like greeting but I guess she was..happy to see me? Her lips then formed a smile, clearing her throat along it.

The melody playing made me feel nostalgic as it was something I've heard before. It was upbeat and sort of fast-paced. I guess it was her  new song.

Minji quickly realized that her song was so loud that she immediately shut the door, looking back at me and apologizing for it. I shake my head shyly not understanding why she would apologize.

"I-well. Umm, it's my new song. I can't let anyone hear it." Minji chuckled nervously as she scratched the back of her head, acting sorry. I shake my hands giving her a smile.

"No, it's okay. It should be her who should her it first." I bitterly uttered not showing my quite disappointed side. It was true, she wrote it for the girl she likes so she should hear it first.

Minji then smiled and nodded. "Well, I hope she does." Her lips turning into a cheeky smile. It was cute but then moment of silence fall upon us. I guess it was time to say goodbye again?

"Well, um- I'll get goin—"

Before I could say anything, Minji put her hands to say something.

"Wait Hanni!" My eyes widened a little, raising my eyebrows up in surprised. "Why don't we have lunch together?" Minji boldly asked, not showing any shyness. I liked the idea but it might feed my delusions again but- she might think I'm rejecting her offer because I don't like her and I don't want my idol to think that way.
