The Lone Wolf -Jangkku-(Webtoon Rewritten)

(For the people who read the before chapter, but didn't find a confusing last paragraph, I suggest you read it. It plays a huge role in the book. My brain forgot to write it before I initially published it because I was too caught up with finding a good pic for that chapter so I wrote it two days after.)

Sunghoon woke up next day morning to the sound of a knock. He tiredly opened his eyes, squinting as sunlight hit him through the white silk-curtained window. He sat on his bed and yawned as he stretched. He then got onto his feet to go open the door. He knew that the only people who would disturb his sleep are his brothers, so he didn't bother to fix his hair or pajamas which were quite dishevelled. He opened the door to be greeted with 6 boys who instantly barged into his room. Sunghoon sighed and went back to his bed with the intentions of going back to sleep, but was stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder. "What?" He (A grumpy Sunghoon) asked annoyed.

Jay put his other hand on his shoulder too and made him sit on the bed. The others were also sitting here and there. Jay leaned onto the wall. "Where were you last night?" Sunghoon looked at them with a confused face. "Didn't Nicholas tell you?" Jay shrugged. "He did, but what the hell was that legal thing you were doing?" Sunghoon shook his head trying to get an answer because his brain was still asleep. "We were doing... something... wait..." He tried to remember and failed yet again. "So did you f-" Sunghoon gasped loudly. "What the hell bro? We both have mates for God's sake!" They chuckled at his reaction. He balled his fists and slightly got up before falling because of his sleepiness. "I remember now." He sighed. "I transformed to my real self last night." The others looked at him confused. (Oh how fast the tables turn...) "What do you mean?" Jay asked, not knowing what Sunghoon meant. "I mean my wolf form, the real one." "Didn't you already get it before?" Jungwon asked as he had some knowledge about werewolves. "I did, or at least I thought I did, but last night I realized I was wrong." Sunghoon said as he yawned loudly, trying to make the others understand that he was sleepy and is not in the mood to talk. "And why did take you so long to come back?" Jay crossed his arms and raised his brow. Sunghoon gave a pained chuckle remembering last night. "Well, it ain't easy like how you see when the werewolves transform. The first time is bad." "How hard?" Sunoo asked curiously. "You feel like you are dying. Obviously, cause your bones crack and turn in literal opposite directions. You'll be in pain before that for like a legit hour before the real thing happen. Your body will feel like it's on fire and your head like it's about to blow. And yeah, this is a toned down summarization of the real deal." The others were shuddering at the thought. "So you went through that much shit all alone last night?" Jay asked. Sunghoon shook his head. "Ej was there." "Why didn't you call us, or your mate?" Jungwon came closer to him and sat on the bed, next to him. "Do you think I'll need alot of people to see me go through a load of shit which is painful and won't let me stay sane?" Sunghoon asked rhetorically. "Right..." Everyone said as they looked away, embarrased for a bit for asking an obvious question. Though Jungwon asked the question, he was voicing out everyone else's thoughts. Seeing their state, Sunghoon tried to lighten the situation. "Plus, Ej was the only other werewolf who has actual knowledge to keep me sane." The others nodded. "And i would've been less in pain if Ej didn't tell me something unbelievable." Sunghoon said, making his friends look at him, asking him to continue.

"So, you know that K is a lycanthrope right? Though he may appear to be the strongest wolf, there's another rare wolf called a hexen wolf. This wolf is born once a 500 years and carries Vagar's blood. Infact, he is the most powerful wolf who isn't a god. His real form comes out once he marks with his real mate and till then, a false form would hide them. He also posses the power to imitate other creatures' powers. And according to Ej, I am that wolf, because I meet all its points. Also, my new wolf is bigger than K which adds to Ej's suspicion."

"So, you are saying that you are the most powerful wolf known to mankind?" Niki asked in surprise. Sunghoon shook his head. "I'm not sure yet, it's just most likely to be that." Jay, who was resting his back on the wall, moved to the front. "But do you have that power?" Sunghoon gave an sheepish smile as he scratched the back of his neck. "I haven't tried yet."

Jungwon looked excited and patted his back. "You should try now, I mean, there's a load of people you can copy from." Sunghoon nodded. "Fine. Lemme try on Ej's recommendation." He closed his eyes and imagined Jake's fire. He heard how Jake does it before, so it wasn't hard to figure it out. Sunghoon continued to focus on fire in his mind. Eventually, he felt a sensation in his veins. He let it flow through his body and concentrated it to his palm. Feeling the warmth and hearing some gasps, he opened his eyes and looked at his palm. A small flick of fire was slowly turning into a normal sized fire ball, glowing brightly in the somewhat dark room. He continued to stare at it, mesmerised with it's beauty. He let down his thoughts and retracted the sensation, making the fire go down and disappear. "That was awesome!" Jake came to him and shook him from his shoulders like an excited puppy.
"You ARE the hexen wolf!"
